A L I Y A H ⋆˚✿˖°

The next day, i went late again to our tutoring sessions.

I just like seeing his annoyed face too much.

But he also doesn't backs off. He gives me dozens of questions to solve and don't even let me take a break.

So i think it's safe to say that, we both annoy each other equally.

Our this little war — yes that's exactly what this is — will never end.

"Noor!" Mahek snaps her finger infront of me.

"Huh, kya hua?" i ask in confusion.

"What were you so lost in thinking about?"

Your brother—

"N-nothing," i avoid her gaze.

"So are you guys coming?" Mohid says catching my attention.

"Coming where?" i ask.

"Did you even heard anything he said?" Mahek rolls her eyes.

"Sorry," i say getting embarrassed.

"There's a party at one of our senior's club today and he invited all the juniors," he explains.

"Oh!"

"So..?" he waits for our response.

"I don't think anyone will let us come this late," Mahek says and i nod with her.

"Come on guys, it's the first party of the semester," he tries to convince us.

Mahek and i share a look, having our secret eye talk.

'What do you say?' i ask.

'But who will let us go?' she asks back.

'Don't worry about that, i have a plan.'

'Hmm.. okay.'

We turn towards him and answer, "Sure see you at the party."

"I need to leave early today," i tell him when i enter, being late again.

"And why so?" he folds his arms infront of his chest.

"Uhh.. i.. have assignments to do," i lie.

"Fine," fortunately he agrees.

I smile as i take my books out and we start with out daily routine.

I've started to get better at statistics now and i even solve some questions by my own, before he even explains them.

Our study sessions are the only time we are so civil with each other, without bickerings.

The rest of the time, we are always on each other's throats.

We both are equally competitive, which means we won't ever back off. And that leads to most of the fights we get into.

But before if could get serious, Mahek or usually Hamdan bhai stops us.

Hamdan bhai is soo much better than him and super fun to be with. I still don't understand, how they both are best friends?

But then again, Mahek and i are really opposites too, but still we're besties for life, actually soulmates!

Why should one always find their soulmate in the form of their life partner? Sometimes, our bestfriends are our true soulmates.

And that's exactly the case for Mahek and i.

I flinch when Aahil snaps his fingers infront of me. "You're distracted again, jungli billi."

"No i'm not."

"Yeah sure," he scoffs, to which i roll my eyes.

"If you really want to go early, then you better solve the questions," he reminds, making me focus back on my book.

"Noor, are we really doing this?" Mahek asks, her voice a little nervous.

"I guess?" i laugh awkwardly.

To be honest, i'm also really scared. This is the first time, we are doing something crazy like this.

We are escaping out!!!!!

Mahek and i sneaked out of our houses, making sure not to catch anyone's attention.

And we did that successfully, but now as we are on our way to the club, the nerves are going high.

There's still time, we should go back.

My inner voice says, but i don't listen to it.

{A/N: You should've listened to it *sighs*}

"We've already told Mohid that we'll come, so it won't be right to ditch at the last moment, haina?" i ask.

"Hmm, i guess so," Mahek replies.

Mahek and i both dressed casually, not too fancy, so even if we ran into someone, we would say we're just going for a walk or something.

Yeah going on a walk at 10pm? You've gone crazy, Aliyah.

I shake my head, trying to get rid of all the bad thoughts.

It's just an harmless party. Nothing would go wrong, right?

"We're here," Mahek says.

I take a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves, before we both go inside. The club is very hideous, and the inside interior is all black and golden.

The smell of alcohol hits me, as soon as we enter. It is fully packed here, some people even blacked out from being so drunk.

"Hey guys, over here!" Mohid shouts through the loud music.

We go towards him and greet a few new students, we've never met before.

"Would you both like something to drink?" he asks.

"No, We're fine thanks," Mahek and i both shake our head.

"This is so not our type," Mahek shouts, as the music is very loud.

"I know right!" i exclaim.

We both spend the rest of the time staying in one corner together.

We both never liked these types of things, but since it was the first party of our semester, we decided to come.

But there's really not much to do.

Someone bumps into Mahek hard that she nearly falls, but i catch her in time.

"Hey watch out!" i exclaim but the guy who bumped into her already left.

"I think we should go back," Mahek suggests.

"Yes, let's go!" i agree.

Just as we're about to leave, we see everyone running here and there, in rush and panic.

Mahek and i both look at each other being confused.

"What is happ—"

Before i could complete my sentence, someone shouts,

"Police!" uh oh.
