We got arrested!

OH MY CHOCOLATE FUDGE!!!

We're in jail!!?

How did going to one innocent party, turned into getting arrested?

Because, the club where the party was going on, was actually an illegal club, and some students were even selling drugs.

If i knew that something like this would happen, i would've never agreed to go.

But still, i went and also dragged Mahek to this mess.

I should've listened to my gut feelings.

I should've never suggested the escape plan to Mahek.

I should've never agreed to this in the first hand.

It's all your fault.

I feel bile rising up my throat, the guilt not leaving me alone.

"Oh my god Noor, how did we get into this mess?" Mahek says, she looks just a second away from crying.

I swallow hard, as i feel myself responsible for all of this.

Because of me, we're here. Mahek has always been the responsible and mature kind, always the rule follower. So, i can't even imagine how she must be feeling right now.

All because of me. It's all my fault.

My inner voice kept chanting those words to me, no matter how hard i tried to ignore them.

It's ok if i get in trouble alone, but i can't see Mahek like this. I can't ever see her hurt or sad, i-i—

"M, please calm down. We'll find a way out," i don't really know if i'm assuring her or myself.

"H-how? We need to call someone who can get us out of here."

"Yeah but who?"

"Let's call bhaiya."

My blood freezes just by hearing his name. He'll be so mad after he finds out.

But there's no other way, we have to call him and let him know.

"Okay."

We request the officers to let us do a phone call, and gladly they agrees.

Mahek calls Aahil, and tells him everything.

"He's on his way," she says after she finishes talking to him.

I nod trying to remain calm, but it's the last thing i'm feeling right now.

I feel like throwing up any second.

Calm down. Calm down. Calm down.

I chant in my mind, over and over again, till we wait for him to arrive.

Just ten minutes later, we see him enter the police station followed by Hamdan bhai.

"Bhaiya," Mahek says with sudden relief.

But i'm feeling far from that. Instead, i feel like something bad is awaiting for us — me to be particular.

His eyes lands on us and the look in them... i can't even explain.

His gaze is filled with worry, anger and disappointment. I avoid his gaze when those eyes land on me.

I can't. It's too intense.

"What the hell happened here?" Hamdan bhai asks as he gets near us, while Aahil talks with the officers.

"We are innocent, we didn't even knew about anything," Mahek tells him the whole incident.
