*Aiden's POV*
"They're screams that we heard the day before ash's disappearance," Logan explained, "Wait Aiden, you're right, they do sound like ash's voice..."
"No, stop! Stop! We shouldn't think like this, we might actually jinx it especially if she is really okay!" Taylor said.
"Fine! Logan what time is it?" I asked.
"You know we can't look at the time, but anyways we have 30mins before we leave on the timer," he answered.
"Logan, do you really think that taylor is right?" I whispered to him once we laid down beside each other, I watched as he shook his head with a frown.
"No, all the proof that something bad happened to ash is infront of us! But I mean I still think we should try and get information off of Alex," Logan answered.
"Right," I said, my smile dropping a little, he was right even if there is evidence that she is okay we still need to raise our suspicions incase they are lying to us.
SHIFT
I sat on my bed silently as the familiar surroundings started to become more clear in the darkness. I sat on my bed for what was for me, ages. The silence is something I was never used to, something I hated, ever since I came here, or rather kidnapped here, the night would become my most favoured time of the day, the only time I can see my friends. I grew up knowing nothing about friendship, social space, blah blah blah, so I never had friends, people I could rely on.
I wish the other were here, I thought suddenly.
I closed my eyes and finally fell asleep, all my worries of ashlyn, the facility, Maverick, the screams disappeared as I collided into a fit of peaceful dreams.
What was going on?
Why are the walls so bloody?
Why are there so many phantoms?
