We were outside. Well not really but we were in what looked like a parking lot.

There were gaurds posted outside with guns. They weren't looking in our direction though. That was good. That was very good.

Our plan was to try to escape through the exit without harming anybody. Obviously if they went in our way... let me just say that they won't see a blink of tomorrow.

I stood up as I glanced at the others, nodding as I pulled out of my pocket a pouch.

I was in my room with Alex playing cards. He was winning and I was pretending to pout as I internally smirked. I had the perfect plan, escaping would need one more thing to make th plan perfect. I smiled.

I grabbed a paper folding it and putting it in my pocket. The day before I had put a pen in the bathroom.

"One second Alex, I need to go to the bathroom," I said trying my best not to grin. He nodded and pulled his phone from his pocket.

"Okay I'll wait for you," he said. I walked to the bathroom. I checked all the spots where anyone could put cameras. I suspected that they had only added recorders. I wouldn't blame them though.

I took the paper from my pocket and quietly unfolded it.I grabbed the pencil from its hiding place and scribbled something on the paper.

Noticing that I should make some noise that proves I was in the bathroom. I flushed the toilet and opened the tap. Great, this is going smoothly as I suspected.

It was surprising really that I was still not caught, I thought.

Yeah you'd think that they'd add more security, luna said as I turned to her direction smiling.

Thank you... luna, I said smiling genuinely looking at her. Atleast I had her.

Why the sudden affection? She joked as I huffed angrily.

You can read my thoughts, can't take a hint? I asked teasing her as I silently giggled.

She smiled as she came closer to me giving me a hug. I was now used to 'Physical contact' even talking became normal? I guess it became more... normal.

Oh how I wish a life without all this shitty shit, she said as she sighed pulling back from the hug. I nodded.

I couldn't agree more, I said my eyes expressing all the words I failed to say. But we could never not live like this, this was our reality.

Our...reality. Imagine if we met under different circumstances! She said her eyes sparkling as she gave me her back before titling her head to look at me with a sad expression.

I smiled... warmly. But it was not the smile of comfort that I give that I feel. I chuckled. It was quite the opposite really.

I am happy I met you... luna, I finally said looking up glancing at her purple eyes.

Me too, she said smiling, we spent too much time in the bathroom ash.

Right. I said.

I walked out of the bathroom taking another glance at the paper.

Sleeping powder! Get us sleeping powder! We need that for our escape plan.

This was it. We are ready! We walked out of the elevator. The powder was in my hand now. We will escape. We will find out the TRUTH.

That's a wrap! 670 words but I wanted to do a cliffhanger. This chapter also shows the bond between ASH And LUNA.
