Under the broad, dimly lit branches of ancient trees that rustled softly in the night wind, Namjoon’s heart raced, not just because he was a werewolf, but because he was truly in love. The moon hung high in the sky, bathing the forest floor in silver light, a stark contrast to the shadows looming overhead. It was in this enchanted atmosphere that he had found his greatest joy: Jin, a human whose smile burned brighter than the sun itself.

However, joy had become a rare thing to Namjoon in the wake of revelations and confrontations. Earlier that evening, wrapped in the warmth of Jin's laughter, Namjoon had proposed to him, slipping a simple silver band onto his human lover’s finger. It was a moment intended to be filled with bliss, but the realization of his own family's expectations loomed like an impending storm. Namjoon knew their reaction would not be the warm embrace he craved; they would scold and berate him, as they always had when it came to matters of the heart.

The scolding had come quicker and harder than he imagined. Back at the sprawling ancestral home, his parents had gathered in the sitting room, their faces tight with disapproval as they confronted him.

"Love a human?" his mother had cried, her voice a brittle whisper that chilled Namjoon to the bone. "Have you lost your mind, Namjoon? After RM ..I never expected this from you?."

His father, a towering figure with eyes sharp and piercing as a hawk's, didn’t mince words. "You are the heir of a long line of werewolves. For centuries, we have protected our bloodline. And you choose to dishonor it with a simple human?" The disappointment in his voice felt like daggers, slicing through Namjoon’s resolve.

“I love him,” Namjoon had managed to say, his voice trembling. “Jin is kind and strong. You don’t understand—”

“Understand?” his mother interrupted, her eyes glimmering with unshed tears. “We loved you, Jin will only bring you pain.”

That was the crux of the matter. Namjoon didn't see Jin as a whim; he saw a future. He saw a life intertwined with moments of laughter, shared dreams, and quiet evenings under the stars. Yet there he stood, caught between the world of his family—the rigorous nobility of werewolves—and the contrasting simplicity and warmth Jin provided.

“I cannot live without him,” Namjoon whispered, the tear threatening to escape his control.

“Then you will live alone,” his father asserted, with a finality that echoed off the walls as if sealing Namjoon’s fate.

The days that followed were clouded by turmoil. The interior of his family home felt like a prison, and every moment spent within those walls was a battle against suffocating expectations. Namjoon found solace in the woods, where he embraced the half-wolf, half-man he was—running, howling, transforming under the moonlight. All the while, his heart ached for Jin.

One particular night, Namjoon found himself at the clearing where they had shared their tender moments. The moon was bright, and for a moment, he thought he could see Jin’s face amidst the shadows. He picked up a fallen twig and started drawing in the dirt beneath his feet—pictures of their life together, of a small house with a garden, of laughter echoing off the walls.

As the night deepened, he felt a presence behind him. It was Jin—the warmth radiating from him cutting through the night air like a beacon.

"Namjoon," Jin started softly, concern lacing his voice. "I’ve been worried. You didn’t come university!"

Namjoon turned, his heart leaping at the sight of his beloved. There was strength radiating from Jin, yet beneath it lay a current of fear.

"It's my parents... They don’t understand," Namjoon said, struggling to keep his composure. "It’s not just love for them; it’s tradition, bloodlines, expectations... everything."

Jin stepped closer, reaching out to cup Namjoon’s cheek. "They don't know you, Namjoon. They don’t see how incredible you are. You’re not defined by your lineage; you’re defined by your heart , now I know everything..and I am accepting u as u are!"

A tangled mix of emotions churned within Namjoon. The ringing echoes of his parents’ words clashed against the solid foundation Jin offered. They stood at a crossroad—one that would define their lives forever.

“I want to be with you, Jin. I want to escape this,” Namjoon declared, the weight of his emotions spilling forth. “But if I lose my family—”

“You won’t lose your family,” Jin interjected fiercely. “Not if they realize what’s at stake. Not if they see how happy you are with me. Let me help you, Namjoon. Let’s show them.”

Namjoon felt hope flickering within him like a tiny flame battling the looming shadows of doubt. Together, they could forge a path forward, breaking through the iron chains binding him to his family's expectations.

That night, as they held each other beneath the stars, Namjoon felt conviction settle within him. He would return home—not as a son drowning in tradition—but as a man presenting the love he was willing to fight for.

With Jin by his side, he would confront his parents one last time, ready to reveal that love was a force beyond bloodlines or expectations. That sometimes, love could break through the barriers built by generations, carving out a new destiny forged by courage and unwavering companionship.

No longer the heir expected to bear the weight of tradition alone, Namjoon would step into the light of the future. Because love, he realized, was worth fighting for—a truth that transcended even the boundaries of worlds.
