THE ESCAPE MISSION

"My dear girls, as you may have guessed the reason why I asked you to come here, is to organise a rescue mission. As you know: fairies and pixies have always been the closest of friends. So we must free them at any cost." Faragonda explains to the Winx , "At any cost, huh? Does that mean we get to skip classes, and still get full credits?" Stella asks with a smirk rising on her face.

"After everything Aisha has gone through, can't you think of something other than skipping classes?" Faragonda scolded. "Well actually it's just that. If it's such a dangerous mission, why not send the professors?"

"Stella." Isabella warned, snapping her head behind and sending the girl a sharp glare over her shoulder. "No, no, it's alright, Isabella. Stella has raised a very good point." Faragonda said turning her back to the girls, earning a confusing look from the fairy of crystals.

"As professors, our job is to guide our students and in case of an emergency—we have to be available to help everyone." Faragonda explained much to Stella's surprise as she hummed in acknowledgment. "So in other words—it's up to us to turn this prince into a popper?" Musa asks and the headmistress turns to face them.

"You've all shown great skill in the fight against the Trix...however, the Pixies are your priority, now. It is not wise to challenge an unknown enemy." Faragonda stated. "So we should avoid direct confrontation?" Bloom asks, "exactly. Don't forget this Dark Knight absorbs magic energy,"

"That means he can turn our powers against us." Tecna added.

"Aisha will be your guide. She's the only one who can find the entrance to the cave. I want you to look for clues that could help us discover the identity of this evil creature. Now, follow me." Faragonda said and walked out of the classroom with the girls right behind her.

"Now I'd like to point out that some of you will not be taking part in this rescue mission." Faragonda reveals and Flora and Bloom rush up to her side.

"But we do everything together."

"Yes, and no one gets left behind ever."

"Each of you has powers better suited to some mission than others. Would you send a frog to live in a hot dry desert?" Faragonda explains. "I wouldn't want to be the poor frog, I dry out in 1,4 hours." Tecna says.

"You don't have to worry about that Tecna, you'll stay at Alfea." Faragonda reveals, walking up the stairs as the Winx stood still on the ground.

"Uh, excuse me, but her techno magic—"

"will help us monitor the situation from here. Isabella, Bloom and Stella will go on the mission." She reveals and Bloom steps forward, questioning why only them three. Quickly joined by Stella and Isabella.

"Because Isabella possesses the eternal crystal's power—the strongest magic of all, Bloom possesses its creation: the Dragon's fire and Stella's Sun magic will be very helpful should they ever come up against the shadow monsters."

Musa then wonders of Flora's and hers power, why wouldn't they be useful in the mission. Faragonda leads them to the Hall and orders them to wait as she walks meters away from them. Doing a spell, the Winx found themselves in a cave with Musa and Flora being the only ones transformed.

Much to their shock, Flora's magic doesn't work in the cave. Musa then tries and the cave collapses by her sound waves.

The girls, Faragonda and Saladin are all gathered outside as the headmistress hands Aisha Seeds of Light that will drive away any kind of shadow creatures, but it is only useable once. "Well girls, are you ready for your mission?"
