The bright rays of the setting sun stained the hallway with colours through the big glass windows. The sparkly wall decor glittered gently because of the stained rays, leaving a mystical impression. The gentle glow of the setting sun illuminated the skin of the obsidian beauty, whose eyes seemed golden while putting on her earrings.

"How have you put up your hair Aadhya?" a scolding voice emerges from the changing room. The owner of the voice while fixing her anarkali scolds her yet again, "Also, where is your head jewellery?"

"Aaheli help me please, you are my dear mother. Please?" Says the golden eyed one in a cute manner to which none could say no.

"Of course I will, like always" says the motherly friend of Aadhya, Aaheli, while starting to fix the mess Aadhya had created in the name of hairstyle.

All of a sudden they both heard a scream from the side which made both of the friends flinch. They turned towards the sources of the noise.

"What the hell happened Sephy?!" Asked Aadhya.

The short heighted friend turned towards them.

"Oh shit!" Exclaimed Aadhya as she started laughing.
"Shit indeed." Replied Aaheli while laughing out loud.

"Uma, Eve stop making fun of my makeup and start helping me out!" Said the 'little baby' as called by her friends.

"Chill Sephy, just take off your makeup and we'll fix it in no time." Said Aaheli while Aadhya chirped in "First fix my hair Eve!"
After lots of laughter, panicking and pure chaos, the three of them were ready for their performance which was in quite a bit of time.

They walked onto the stage while the curtains were still down and took their starting poses. The whole backstage was silent and they could practically hear each other's heartbeats racing with excitement and nervousness. Every second their heartbeat seemed to exceed their pace with the flow of time.

Just as the curtain started to go up, the crowd erupted into cheers, whistles and screeching. As the music started, the nerves slightly toned down and got replaced by the fear of messing up.

The first song of the mashup, Jana Gana in Bengali, started to play and with every beat and word, Aadhya danced beautifully like a graceful swan. She was the epitome of elegance and beauty. The second sweetest language blended perfectly with the graceful steps of the lotus-eyed beauty. The Odissi steps along with her gestures and expressions we're effectively mesmerizing the crowd in front of her. Her perfection was captivating to each and every person present in the auditorium.

As Aadhya stopped dancing, the focus of the spotlight shifted on Aaheli as she started dancing like a free bird with the happiness of being independent. Her languid Kathak moves were seamless, like the water of a tranquil river and raging ocean waves, flowing with the tracks and beats of the song, Lehra Do. The pride for her country could be seen in her moves. She spun like the chakra of unity itself, her each spin representing each spoke of the Ashoka Chakra.

As Aaheli slowed down to a halt, the sweet and heartfelt lyrics of Dhono Dhanne were heard and suddenly the spotlight flickered to the smallest figure on the stage. Sharp and tort moves did not fail to appease the crowd. Shivangi's dance portrayed her emotions as well as the inner meaning of the song. Her expressions and intricate hand gestures expressed the words of the song flawlessly and the complex Bharatnatyam footwork along with her flexibility hypnotised the crowd with its beauty.
