“Yes Marlene?”  
“James hasn't talked to you yet! And I haven't seen his little sister.”  
“I know something’s off.”  
“Lily and Marlene?”  
“Yes Remus?”  
“Have you seen Sirius, James, or Lyra, is it?”  
“No, we haven’t”  
“They weren't on the train!”  
“What do you mean they weren’t on the train?”  
“Lily, he means they weren't on the train - they didn’t come back!”  
“That's weird, they always come back...” Peter joined into the conversation.  
“I know right!”  
“Lupin, Pettigrew, Miss Evans, and Miss Mckinnon - have you seen James, Sirius, and Lyra?" asked Professor McGonagall.  
“No, we haven’t,” we all said at the same time.  
“Who saw James, Sirius and Lyra last?”  
“I haven’t seen them since coming off the train at King’s Cross” I said.  
“Same as Lily,” said Remus.  
“Not since they left for the train for going home for the holidays, since I stayed here,” said Marlene.  
“Same as Marlene,” Peter said suspiciously.  
“Alright, I’ll contact Euphemia and Fleamont. You should see them tomorrow,”

Professor McGonagall said, and left.  
“Everyone off to bed now!” announced Dumbledore, and we left the Great Hall, but I saw the Slytherin who had been listing in the conversation and who were friends with Lyra, left the hall with a smirk on their face. I recognised someone’s head as they walked with them, but I didn’t know who it was...
