... Amy told me that she's gonna meet me up
I don't know where or when and now they're closin' up the club, oh

Zayn sat across from Sabrina in their favorite café, as she sipped her espresso martini, Zayn nursed a cappuccino, trying to find the right words to explain the situation that had unfolded over the past few weeks. His friend, Sabrina, was one of the few people in his life he could be completely open with, but even for her, this might be hard to understand.

"So... you're telling me that the guy you hooked up with, Amee, isn't... Harry or is he?" Sabrina's brows furrowed. She looked perplexed, and Zayn couldn't blame her.

"Kind of," Zayn sighed, running his fingers through his dark hair. "It's more complicated than that. He has DID—Dissociative Identity Disorder. The person I met that night? That wasn't him. That was his alter. Ames."

Sabrina blinked a few times, her confusion deepening. "Wait, so Harry has multiple personalities? Like, literally? I thought that was just some Hollywood thing."

"No, it's real," Zayn replied, leaning forward slightly. "And it's not just personalities. From what I read they're called alters. Ames is one of Harry's. Harry explained it to me, and I've done some research since. It's not easy to live with, and he didn't choose this, you know?"

Sabrina sat back, taking it all in. "So, you're telling me you've been seeing this guy, but sometimes it's not even him?"

Zayn nodded, knowing how strange this all sounded but needing to make it clear. "Yeah. But here's the thing, Sabrina—Harry is incredible. He's sweet, kind, thoughtful... everything I've ever wanted in someone. It's just, well... Ames is a completely different person. And when Ames comes out. He's a lot bolder, darker, and definitely more promiscuous. But it's not Harry's fault, and I want to give him a chance. I just... need to figure out how to navigate this."

Sabrina's skepticism was obvious, but she could see the sincerity in Zayn's eyes. She trusted him and knew he was good at reading people, but this was new territory. "I mean, if anyone can handle it, it's you. But you have to be careful, Zayn. You don't know how you get in relationships and this is so unpredictable it could really fuck you up."

Zayn nodded, his expression softening. "I know. That's why I need tonight to go right. I'm inviting Harry over for dinner."

"Wait, like at our place? Alone?" Sabrina raised an eyebrow, clearly concerned.

"Yeah, but I'm not stupid about it. I've done my homework. Plus, I think it's important to see the real Harry when we're not in a club or a café, I want to take him on a proper date. I want to understand him better, and he deserves that chance."

Sabrina still looked skeptical but sighed, recognizing the determination in Zayn's eyes. "Alright, I trust you. But what's the plan?"

Zayn grinned, sliding his sleek black card across the table toward her. "I need you to treat yourself tonight. Book a hotel, get a spa treatment, whatever you want. I don't care about the price. I just want you out of the house so I can have Harry over."

Sabrina's eyes widened at the gesture. "Zayn, you know I don't need your money—"

"I know," Zayn interrupted with a smile, "but I also know you won't say no to a night of pampering on my dime. Consider it a favor for dealing with all my crazy stories lately."

Sabrina laughed, rolling her eyes as she snatched the card. "Fine. But if you need me, I'm a call away."

"Deal," Zayn agreed, grateful for her support.
