The room is a whirlwind of activity as we scramble to make our next move. The news report had left us all shaken, and the urgency in Diego's voice as he told us about the chaos Nyx was causing only added to the tension.

Five stands near the door, his eyes scanning the room with a focused intensity. "We need to go to the circus," he says. "It's the best place to trap Nyx. We can use the mirrors to our advantage."

Klaus, ever the strategist, nods. "It's a good idea. But we need to be careful. We don't know what Nyx has planned."

Allison, Diego, and the others agree, and soon we're on our way. The drive to the circus is silent, the weight of the upcoming battle heavy on all of us. Five sits beside me in the car, his gaze fixed on the road, but I can feel his tension radiating.

When we arrive at the circus, the atmosphere is eerie and desolate. We quickly get to work, setting up the traps and preparing for the fight. The anticipation is almost unbearable, and I can feel the fear building inside me. The thought of facing Nyx and his new allies is almost too much to bear.

I take a deep breath and summon all my courage. I call out to Nyx, my voice echoing through the empty circus. Shadows begin to swirl, and soon, Nyx appears—only he's not alone. Three more Nyx creatures emerge, their grotesque forms making my heart race.

The battle begins almost immediately. I struggle to keep up as the Nyx creatures attack from all sides. My powers are draining me quickly, and I can feel my strength waning. I try to use my light to fend them off, but each burst of energy leaves me feeling more and more exhausted.

Five is at my side, his movements precise and calculated. He's fighting fiercely, but his attention is constantly on me. I can see the concern in his eyes as he watches me struggle.

"Stay focused!" Five shouts over the chaos. "We need to keep fighting!"

But I can't keep up. My vision blurs, and I start to feel like I'm slipping. The weight of the fight is overwhelming, and I can't shake the feeling of defeat.

"I can't do this," I shout, my voice cracking with desperation. "I'm done. I just want it all to end."

Five's expression hardens, but I can see the flicker of something more in his eyes. He moves closer, his presence a small comfort amidst the chaos. "You can't give up now," he says, his voice strained but determined. "We need you."

"I'm tired," I reply, my voice barely a whisper. "I can't keep fighting. What's the point?"

Five's gaze softens, and for a moment, there's a vulnerability in his eyes that I've never seen before. "You're stronger than you think. We're in this together."

I'm too exhausted to respond. My powers are nearly depleted, and I can feel myself weakening with every passing moment. The three Nyx creatures are relentless, their attacks pushing me to my limits.

As I struggle to hold on, Five steps closer, his hand reaching out to steady me. There's a raw intensity in his eyes, and I can sense that he's on the edge of saying something important. "Listen," he begins, his voice softening, "I..."

But before he can finish, Diego's voice cuts through the noise. "Move! We can't handle this! They're too strong!"

Five's expression hardens again, though I can see the worry beneath his tough exterior. "We need to get out of here. We'll regroup and come up with a new plan."

With a final, reluctant glance, Five scoops me up, his arms cradling me gently as he carries me toward the car. I'm barely aware of the commotion around me, my strength completely spent. As we drive away from the circus, I feel Five's lap beneath my head, his touch surprisingly soothing despite the chaos of the day.

Klaus's voice breaks the silence. "You two might want to get a room. Things are getting pretty intimate in here."

Five ignores him, his focus entirely on me. I'm too exhausted to respond, my mind drifting in and out of consciousness as we make our way back to the Umbrella Academy.

In the car, I find a strange comfort in the way Five's hand brushes through my hair. Despite his usual cold demeanor, there's something oddly comforting about his presence. I close my eyes, letting myself be comforted by his touch, even though I'm not entirely sure what to make of it.

When we return to the Academy, Five carries me inside, his movements careful and deliberate. I'm barely aware of the activity around me, my body feeling heavy and unresponsive.

As we settle in, I hear Diego's voice, urgent and tense. "We need to come up with a new plan. Nyx isn't done yet."

Five's attention remains on me, his worry evident in the way he looks at me. Despite the chaos and fear, there's a part of me that feels oddly reassured by his presence. But for now, I'm too tired to think about anything other than the battle ahead and the strange, unexpected comfort I find in Five's touch.
