Words: 1023
A/N: It's not really a ship story, but since S1 Ianite and Alyssa hanging out is my aesthetic this is happening.

Ianite and I were in the flower fields near her palace again, I was gathering flowers for crowns and she sat in the grass silently watching me. I picked a purple flower and handed it to her. She smilied slightly and accepted the flower. As soon as I pulled away her smile went back to a frown as she fumbled with then flower in her hand. I put the flowers I had collected into my basket and sat down next to her.
"Are you okay, Ianite?" I asked crossing my legs.
"I am not sure, sweetie," she said running a hand through her long hair.
"Well what's wrong? Maybe I could help you!"
She sighed and looked at me, "has anyone told you of this relm's Dianite yet, Alyssa?"
I shook my head, "no, no one will ever tell me. What's so bad about him? My dad was super nice and tought me how to fight! This version of him shouldn't be too bad, right?"
"That's the problem, he wasn't..nice. He's my brother, and I love him so much as siblings should, but he has done such terrible things to hurt me. I am not sure wether I want him back or not."
"But without him there wouldn't be peace, right?"
"Yes, that is very true. But he went too far with his power, Alyssa."
I sighed angrily, "just tell me what he did! I'm not a kid anymore, I can handle it!"
Ianite moved her body so she was facing me, "are you sure?"
"I have been waiting for some explaination as to where he went since the day we came here, I am more than sure, Ianite," I said desperately.
"You have been warned, Ally."
"Yeah, yeah, just go on..please?"
Ianite took a deep breath, "alright, I shall tell you then."

After Ianite finished her story we were both silent for a few minutes. I was fuming, how could dad have done those things?! Sure he was intimidating and had a dark sense of humor but he'd never hurt people like that. Only if he ever needed to... I- I think? I could feel Ianite's gaze on me; I looked up at her.
"I am so sorry, Alyssa. I didn't mean to make you mad. From what I've heard from both you and Mr.Screziato your dad was nothing like my brother, please don't let this change your veiws on him," Ianite said as she placed a hand on my cheek.
I placed my hand on top of hers and closed my eyes, "I just don't understand, why would dad's Alternate be so...so sadistic?" I whispered with my eyes still closed.
"I may be a goddess child, but I do not know everything. I am sorry," Ianite said sadly.
"I accept your apology, Ianite," I said opening my eyes and smiling slightly.
We sat there in comfortable silence until Ianite broke the slience by asking,"..would you like to see his temple?"
"He has a temple?! Dad never had one, he didn't like temples. Said he didn't like people worshiping him so hardcore or something." I said standing up.
I held out a hand to help Ianite up, she took it and stood up with me.
"Well there's something your dad and my bother didn't have in common," Ianite chuckled.
I smiled, "yeah! But come on, I wanna see the temple! Pleaseeee?" I whined.
"We're gonna have to go through a Nether portal in order to reach it, I have no domain nor any power to teleport to the Nether," Ianite said as we appeared next to the preist's house.
"Huh? Why?" I asked as we walked through the portal.
"Brother reined over the Nether and made sure we couldn't come in, only the heroes and the other people living here could. It was especially hard to escape since he restricted a lot of my power," Ianite said as we appeared in the Nether.
I walked to the edge of the cliff we were on and saw the ruins of a castle below surrounded by lava. Ianite stood next to me.
"Is that his temple?"
"Yes."
"Can you teleport us down there or are we gonna have to wa-" I was cut off by Ianite teleporting us to the front entrance, "oh, thanks."
"Of course, sweetheart," Ianite said as she opened up the doors.
I followed her inside and was disappointed to see it entirely made out of netherrack and stone, it was so bland! What horrid fashion tastes.
Ianite chuckled, "we do not have many materials that can survive the heat here like you do in your world, Alyssa. He used what he could get ahold of."
"That's stupid," I muttered as I ran my hand along the wall.
"Well, he chose the Nether as his place to rule, it was his fault if anything," Ianite shrugged.
"Dad always lamented about how he wanted to rule the stars. Not the Nether. He didn't have a choice."
"Really? Why not?"
I stopped walking, as I remembered him. Metalic arms and a red glowing eye, it was still creepy even if I wasn't a child anymore. He decided who ruled over what. He claimed the stars and the overworld and gave dad and Ianite the lesser worlds. It was stupid.
"Ah, I understand now.. Is that why you don't like my brother?" Ianite asked.
I looked up, we were at the portal again. I nodded my head.
"I could never imagine Mianite being selfish like that. But then again I could never imagine my other brother being a dad," Ianite said smiling.
"He's not really my dad, I just think of him as one? My actual dad, Mot, gets really flustered when I call Dia 'dad' so around him I just refer to Dia as 'Uncle Dia'. That and my dad is like really gay for him so I mean, maybe one day," we both laughed.
"How about we go back to my palace and you can teach me and Mr.Redbeard how to make flower crowns, yeah?" Ianite asked taking my hand.
"Yeah. Sounds good, 'mom'," I said giggling.
