Story Of My Life

Sam Jenkins is an average 16 year old. She lives in a small town in Minnesota, she has a big family, and she's incredibly awkward. Her looks? Well, she's no model, but she's no ugly Betty either. Shes average. Straight brown hair, brown eyes, eyebrows that never seem to be tamed, a small amount of acne every now and then, 5'7, and not the skinniest girl in the world. She's not one to care what she wears. Everyday it's the same thing; leggings, graphic tee, converse. Her personality? Awkward at times, sassy, snarky, feisty, do I even need to continue? Most of her friends are straight 10's, where as Sam is a solid 4.

And why am I telling you all of this? Because her life is flipped upside down when the schools most popular guys come into her life. But why? Jake Williams, the quarterback of the football team, wants to ask out her best friend. He comes to Sam for advice, but they end up spending more time together than planned. Yeah, this could end badly.
