Natalie and I ended up shopping for the rest of the day, until the mall closed actually. I love getting new stuff, but I hate the shopping part of it. Walking around the mall for hours, the people, trying stuff on, waiting in lines, etc. You get the point.
I was walking downstairs to grab a pop tart from the cupboard when two hands pushed me down the stairs. Luckily, there wasn't that many left so I didn't go tumbling down. But I could tell bruises would be forming soon.
I whipped my head around, seeing my little brother. Once he saw the death look on my face, he ran for the hills.
"MOM!" I yelled, standing up and brushing off my pants even though there was no dirt or anything on it.
"What is it, Sam?" She walked into the room, looking exhausted.
"I just busted my fucking ass because your son pushed me down the stairs." I replied. She sighed, rubbing her forehead.
"Don't use that language, and which son?" She asked.
"The little demon child you decided to have. You should've stuck with three children. He's satan." I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Thomas! Can you come here please!" My mom yelled to him. He cautiously came down to where we were and I fought the urge to hit him.
"Tell Sam you're sorry."
"I'm sorry," He said, looking apologetic. But that look was quickly replaced with a smirk. "That you're a fat ass!"
My jaw dropped as he ran off, my mom running after him and yelling at him.
"What's with all the freakin' noise?" I looked up to see my younger brother Dean, who's 14, rubbing his eyes and still in his pajamas.
"The devil decided to push me down the stairs and I just about busted my ass." I answered.
"Good" He answered with a laugh. I glared at him and he just shrugged, going to the cupboards in the kitchen. He grabbed the box fruity pebbles and opened it, tipping it up to his mouth. The cereal rushed into his mouth faster than he'd intended and it went all over the floor, basically giving him a fruity pebble shower.
"Now THAT was funny!" I burst out laughing as he glared at me.
"Now pick this up and go get ready for school. Don't make mom late." I said in a serious tone when I finished laughing. I grabbed a poptart and went outside. Just as I did, Natalie pulled up and we both rose to school.

"I feel bad ignoring Jake," She sighed. "He looks really sad whenever I blow him off."
"Forget him. He's not even hot anyways." I replied, not knowing how to reply.
"Morning ladies" Shawn passed us, nodding his head.
"Hey Shawn" Natalie and I said in unison.
Shawn's basically the schools biggest nerd AND geek, not in a bad way, but he just is. Perfect grades, 4.0 gpa, chess club, math club, science club, book club, etc. He's probably the only boy I think is remotely good looking in our school. Smart guys are always attractive. Well, maybe not always, but it's an attractive quality to have on a guy.
"I saw the way you just looked at him." Nat said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"What?"
"You had googley eyes when he went past us!" She squealed. "Aw that's so cute Sam!"
"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked. I didn't have googley eyes when he walked past us, she needs to calm down.
"You like Shawn!" She exclaimed. I gave her the dumbest look ever and closed my locker.
