Mary stood at the front of the Notre Dame with her husband, Lola her best friend and their bastard child John.

Her clear blue eyes filled with tears as she thought that should be my child up there. The choir started to a te deum in honour of the royal child. Francis stared half at mary and half at john. Guilt was running through him. He could not imagine what this was like for her yet she had been so supportive.

As people started file out of the magnificent cathedral Francis grabbed hold of Mary's hand. "Mary I am really sorry for what I have put you through." He said apologetically.
"Francis please let go." Mary replied " it's happened now and I don't really care. Mary stormed out of the cathedral.
" well that went well." Lola said sarcastically.

Catherine walked up to Mary and rested her hand on Mary's shoulder. Mary turned her head and gave a sigh of relief to see the scheming brown eyes of Catherine de Medici.
"How are you handling it?" Catherine asked.
" Quite well actually" MARY replied. " Can I tell you some thing in private please?"

They walked to the rose garden which was filled with all kinds of flowers from roses to poppies. They sat down on a freshly polished white bench.

"So what did you want to talk about?"asked Catherine
"I'm having a baby." Replied Mary
"Oh I already know." Exclaimed Catherine
"How?"questioned Mary
" I can tell by the look you gave Lola this morning." Catherine said calmly. "So who is the one that will be telling Francis?"
"Telling me what?" Asked Francis who was right behind them
