The weekend had finally arrived, Sophia woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside her window. The sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow in her room.

As Sophia sat up in bed, the events of the previous days came rushing back to her. The demon's unexpected appearance and his cryptic words about her past lingered in her mind, causing her to shiver despite the warm sunlight.

Trying to shake off the unease, she threw back the covers and got out of bed, determined to have a normal Saturday.

Sophia walked across the room towards the window, opening the curtains to let in the morning sunlight. The world outside seemed normal and peaceful, a stark contrast to the turmoil she had experienced.

Taking a deep breath, she tried to push the thoughts of the demon to the back of her mind and focus on her day ahead.

Deciding that something to eat might help clear her head, Sophia headed downstairs to the kitchen. As she entered the kitchen she rummaged through the fridge, looking for something to eat, but her mind kept drifting back to the demon's presence in her room. She couldn't shake the feeling that he was always nearby, watching her every move.

The thought of the demon being close by sent a chill down Sophia's spine. She looked over her shoulder, half-expecting to see his shadowy figure lurking in the corner But the kitchen was empty.

Shaking her head, Sophia focused back on finding breakfast. She grabbed a bowl and some cereal, pouring the cereal into the bowl with some milk.

As Sophia sat down at the table with her bowl of cereal, she found it difficult to focus on eating. The events of the past few days weighed heavily on her mind, and she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched.

Every rustle of leaves outside, every distant car horn, made her jump. She tried to convince herself that she was just being paranoid, but the unease persisted.

Sophia was picking at her cereal, lost in her thoughts, when suddenly the demon appeared right next to her. He materialized as if out of thin air, taking a seat casually in the chair next to her.

Sophia let out a gasp, startled by the demon's sudden appearance. Her heart leaped into her throat, and she nearly spilled her cereal.

The demon chuckled softly, clearly amused by Sophia's reaction. He leaned back in the chair, a sly smile on his face.

"Still jumpy, I see," he remarked, his voice laced with a hint of mockery. "You really ought to expect me by now."

Despite her initial shock, Sophia composed herself and tried to keep a straight face. She wasn't about to let the demon know how much he had startled her.

"Why are you here, again?" she asked, attempting to sound annoyed rather than frightened. "Have you come to pester me again?"

The demon chuckled, seemingly amused by her attempt to act nonchalant. He leaned closer, his gaze fixed on hers.

"Pester?" he repeated, feigning innocence. "Is that what you think I'm doing, pestering you? Oh, sweet girl, I'm here for a little more than that."

Sophia felt a pang of fear at his ominous words. The way he spoke so casually, so cryptically, only heightened her unease.

"What does that mean?" she asked, trying to mask her fear with a steely determination. "What else are you here for?"

The demon chuckled again, enjoying the effect he was having on her. He moved even closer, causing Sophia to shrink back in her chair.

"Oh, you'll find out soon enough," he replied cryptically. "For now, just know that I have my reasons for being here. And those reasons involve you, Sophia."
