Chapter 2: Night Banquet

January 23 1951, Pytho awoke from his bed and got ready for today's shift, he took a bath, changed into his uniform and went outside his room to assist the other maids, through the halls he walked, paintings of the manor's residents hang from the walls, many showed portrayals of the family's history, even the manor's history itself, as pytho walked through the empty halls, he could hear faint ghostly cries.

He ignored it, figured it for some resident who has lost something valuable, he reached the end of the hallway, but felt something strange, like something was following him, he turned his back but saw nothing, he looked around, but found nothing, he went to the head maid's room and knocked on the door, knock knock knock, and the door opened as mrs.Rina, the woman, quite a young beauty despite her age of 30, greeted him with a kind expression, "ready for your tasks today i see." she said with a chuckle, "well come in now, i'll discuss it with you here." she said, pytho entered the room and mrs.Rina closed the door behind them, inside the room, pytho was handed a check list of the tasks to do, and was given a ballpoint pen, and was sent off to do his tasks.

His tasks were the following:
• clean the Halls.
• wipe the windows.
• assist Mr.Harris in his office.
• clean the Grand Hall for the guests tonight.
• assist Mrs.Jade in the grand hall for the decorations.

He proceeded with the first task, clean the halls, he grabbed a broom and a dust pan from the cleaning closet and got to work, after a few hours of cleaning the halls, he checked off the list:
• clean the Halls. ✓
• wipe the windows.
• assist Mr.Harris in his office.
• clean the Grand Hall for the guests tonight.
• assist Mrs.Jade in the grand hall for the decorations.

Then proceeded to the next, wipe the windows,
he got some rags after returning the broom and dustpan to the closet, and started wiping the windows in every single room, from the halls, to the main lobby, after finishing the task, he checked off the list:
• clean the Halls. ✓
• wipe the windows. ✓
• assist Mr.Harris in his office.
• clean the Grand Hall for the guests tonight.
• assist Mrs.Jade in the grand hall for the decorations.

as he made his way to Mr.Harris's office, he could hear the ghostly cries, he continued walking, not paying mind to the ghostly cries, as he reached the door to Mr.Harris's office, he knocked on the door, knock knock knock, then he heard his voice, "come in", he opened the door and walked in, there inside, Mr.Harris was doing some paperwork, "goodnoon mr.harris, how can i assist you for today?" pytho asked, "Ah yes, i would like to ask you to assist Alexis in the main hall with his mother, and also give this letter to his mother." pytho nodded and took the letter and went to the main hall.
