"Out" Benj looked outside through the front windshield. "Are we not driving in?". "I am. Not with some bitch ass freshman in the car," Ruby said. "I'm only doing this to get out of detention. Let's go, I'm late!". Benj walked up to his friends, Connor and Eddie.

"Gentlemen! Ready for the best year of our lives?" He put his arms around the both of them. "It was almost the last year of our lives. You fuckin see that shit?" Connor said. "Ancient history. Once that bell rings, we're in high school. Know what that means?". Eddie took a guess.

"New teachers? More pressure from our parents to succeed?" Connor shrugged. "Pubes?". "No, it means we have a fresh start. Anything is possible. We're gonna be cool this year!". Connor snickered. "Cool, how? We're nerds and you're a theater kid".

"That is the old me. This year, I'm gonna be cool!". "Ok Mr 'cool kid', tell us, how is it that you're gonna be cool?" Benj scratched the back of his head. "I uh... I actually don't know yet" Connor patted Benj's shoulder. "Well, good luck with that buddy!". A car pulled up. Koosh and his older brother Kayvon got out of it.

"Well, well. If it isn't the d!ck and his two little balls". "Hey, Koosh!". Kayvon punched Koosh in the arm. "Don't forget, I'm serious!". Koosh sighed. "You guys can't call me Koosh anymore". "Well, what do we call you? Dangah?". "It's Danah, ass!".

All the boys snickered at him. "You guys are laughing now, but in a few weeks my parents are going out of town, and I'm going to throw a big ass party! You hoes are invited!". Connor looked at Eddie and Benj. "Oh Kayvon is throwing a party, how cool of him to invite us!". Koosh scoffed.

"I'm throwing it you d!ck!" Koosh began. "Kayvon is just helping me...". "Oh, so it is Kayvon's party?". Benj asked. Koosh just rolled his eyes. "So Mr cool Kid, are you going to bring a girl to Koosh's party?". Eddie asked Benj. "Uhh, I don't know, why?". Eddie shrugged. "Well, every cool guy brings a girl to a party with them".

Benj shrugged. "I don't know who should I bring". A white Porsche pulled up to the school. Two girls came out of the car. Nadia and Nailea Adams. They were two pretty popular girls. "How about you bring Nailea. She's cool!". Benj shook his head. "No way, she's way out of my league!". "Well, you said you wanted to be cool!". Connor said. "Yeah, and if you don't ask her, I'll ask her," Koosh said.

"Ok Nai, it's your first day of high school. So rule number one, don't be a loser!" Nailea rolled her eyes. "Whatever Nadia. And don't worry, I'll be fine!". Nadia looked over to her right at the four boys staring at her and Nailea. She looked them up and down in disgust.

"Ew, some weirdos are looking at you" Nailea looked at them as they seemed to begin to panic. "Oh hey, it's Connor!". "Who the hell is Connor?".  "Oh you don't know him. We had math class together last year. He's cool!". "So you're friends with weirdo freshman's?".

"Well, I don't know the rest of them, just Connor". "Whatever, you hang out with your nerd friends. I'm going inside" Nailea playfully rolled her eyes as she walked over to the four boys. They panicked even more. "Hey, Connor!". "Hey, Nai!". "Nailea Adams!" Koosh pushed aside Connor. "I'm Danah, but you can call me Koosh! Just not in front of my brother Kayvon..."

Nailea laughed. "Ok Koosh. It's nice to meet you...". "Sorry about him Nai, he has a little bit too much pride in himself". Benj cleared his throat at Connor and nudged him with his shoulder. "Oh, this is Eddie and Benj!". "Nice to meet you guys" Nailea smiled at Benj and he blushed.

"Nailea, over here!" A girl called from a distance. "Sorry I gotta go, hopefully, I can see you guys later. Bye Connor!". Nailea walked away over to her friends. "Connor are you serious?" Koosh hit Connor in the arm. "Why didn't you tell us you were friends with one of the hottest freshman in school!". Connor shrugged. "Well I told you guys she was cool. Would I be saying that about a person I don't know?".

Benj laughed. "You're right about that. Can you introduce me to her?". "What do you mean, you just met her?".

"No I mean like, get me together with her!" Connor shrugged. "I can try. But no offense, I don't think girls like her go for guys like you". Benj scoffed. "A guy like me? What do you mean?". "Dude, you're a nerd  and a theatre kid. It'll never work out". The bell rang as they walked inside the building. "We'll talk later!".
