2 Days In The New Neighborhood

I was busy doing some of the chores around the house until I heard knocking on the door.

"I'll get it," I yelled towards the hallways.

As I opened the door, I saw a guy with a mask on his face and was wearing a gray and black sweatshirt.

"Good Afternoon. My name is Zane Ro'Meave. I'm in charge of the neighborhood watch. I just wanna let you know if there's any problems, you can report them to me," Zane informed.

"Okay... Um... I was wondering if I could get your number just in case something happens. Me and my family were very new to this neighborhood," I requested.

"Of course, Miss... Um... Forgive me that I didn't get your name," Zane said.

"Oh! I'm Y/n. I moved here yesterday with my family," I said.

As Zane gave me his number, I bid him farewell and went back to do my cleaning. I went back outside after cleaning and decided to plant more flowers.

"Hey mom. How many flowers should I plant here," I asked.

"As many as you want, Baby. Just don't overexert yourself," Blaze yelled from the house.

I continued planting the petunias and daisies around the house until I exhaustedly sat down on the ground. I wiped the sweat off from my forehead and suddenly felt something cold on my cheek. I looked over to see Laurance giving me a water bottle.

"Oh, hey Laurance," I said.

"Hey, are you doing okay," Laurance asked.

"Yeah... Just taking a break from gardening," I replied while drinking water.

"You can hang out with me and my roommates while you can relax," Laurance suggested.

"Sure thing," I said.

As I was about to get up, Laurence carried me bridal style that got me off guard.

"L-Laurence," I exclaimed.

"It's okay. I got you," Laurance said.

As we made our way to the house next door, I sat down on the couch and noticed Garroth scrambling around the house.

"Uhhh... Is there someone else coming here," I asked.

"Yes... Aphmau's coming over today," Laurance replied.

"Laurance, did you make sure that we have the kind of food she likes," Garroth asked until he saw me on the couch.

"Oh, hi Y/n," He said.

"Hi Garroth," I said.

"To answer your question, Garroth. Yes, did you make sure that all the toilet seats are down," Laurance asked.

"Oh no, I forgot," Garroth exclaimed.

"She's going to be here any minute," Laurance exclaimed.

"What are you guys freaking out about?" Dante asked as he walked in.

"Aphmau is coming over to our place," Laurance replied.

"We need to make a good impression so she can kiss me," Garroth added.

Dante laughed at their response.

"You guys are hilarious. You overreacted to everything to deal with her," He said.

"No, we don't," Garroth growled as he turned into a shadow knight.

"Woah!" I exclaimed as I jumped off the couch in fear.

"Now, now, now. It's alright," Laurance said.

As Garroth went back to his normal form, I walked over to the kitchen to make myself a snack until Aphmau came inside. I was about to make myself a sandwich until I felt someone hugging me from behind.

I turned over to see Laurance hugging me when he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You okay, Laurance," I asked.

"Yeah, I got so embarrassed in front of Aphmau," Laurance replied.

"Aw... It'll be alright. How long have you known Aphmau," I asked.

"Since high school," Laurance replied.

"I see... Here, want a sandwich," I asked as I was ready to give him my sandwich.

"No, you need it more than me," Laurance replied.

I walked my way back to the couch and started eating the sandwich. A few minutes later, I walked out of Laurance's house and began walking over to the park.

As I made it to the park, I sometimes felt that I'm being followed by someone. I turned over to see Dante and immediately fell to the ground until Dante caught me before I hit the ground.

"D–D-Dante, why are you following me," I stuttered.

"You know, you're kinda cute when you stutter," Dante said.

I squeaked as I blushed pink and Dante carried me in his arms.

"Relax, I'm not going to hurt ya," Dante said.

"What happens if Aphmau or Kawaii Chan see us," I exclaimed.

"What do you mean," He asked.

"I kinda overheard Aphmau's voice from across the street saying about Kawaii Chan's shipping shrine," I replied.

"Oh geez," Dante said.

The next day, I was sleeping in my new bed until I felt someone jumping.

"Y/n! Sister! Wake up!" Charmy exclaimed.

"Charmy, bro, let me sleep," I said, tiredly.

"I can't. The sky's awake and now I'm awake. So we have to play," Charmy said.

"Go play with the rest of the others," I groaned.

"Want to build a snowman," Charmy teased.

I opened my eyes and smiled, then ran outside in my winter clothes.

"Wow, it is snowing. It never snows in Soleanna and now it does here," I exclaimed.

"Come on, let's build a snowman, sis," Charmy exclaimed.

"Alright," I exclaimed.

As me and Charmy started building a snowman, I noticed Aphmau being pinned down by Katelyn in the snow.

"Hey Charmy, I'll be right back," I yelled.

I began running towards Katelyn and pushed her away from Aphmau.

"Aphmau, run," I yelled.

"Thanks Y/n," Aphmau said while running.

"Hey sis, come over here. I finished making the snowman," Charmy yelled.

"Ok bro. See ya Aphmau," I said while running back to the house.

As I made it to the house, I saw a perfectly made snowman in front of the house and went back inside for hot cocoa.

"Mom! Dad! There's snow outside. It wasn't snowing from Soleanna and now it does here," I exclaimed.

"See, I told you that changes can be good," Blaze said.

I began making hot cocoa for my family until I saw snowmen in front of Aphmau's house.

"Almost done with the hot cocoa, Y/n," Silver asked.

"Yes, dad. Almost done," I replied while turning off the stove.

After pouring the hot cocoa into the cups, I began drinking the hot cocoa from my kitty mug and watching the snow falling out from the skies.
