Taming the Chaos

CHAPTER 1

In the dimly lit of hallway, I was walking alone, my thoughts swirling with the usual noise of the day. I wasn't one to seek trouble, but trouble had a way of finding me. As I turned the corner, I just found myself face-to-face with one of the men who was furious with me because he thought that I stole his girlfriend.

And the truth is, it was his girlfriend who approached me; I didn't even know she had a boyfriend. She invited me that night, and who am I to refuse? After all, they were the ones making the first move.

I won't deny that I accepted her invitation because she's incredibly beautiful, and you could say she has a well-shaped figure, exactly my type.

Nalaman ko na lang may boyfriend pagsapit ng kinaumagahan. Someone's calling her, which is why I woke up. I was surprised at that moment because what appeared on the screen was 'babe.'

And guess what? Agad akong umalis that time at hindi na ginising o nagpaalam pa sa babaeng ni pangalan ay hindi ko alam.

Ayoko ng drama at masali sa away nilang dalawa. Kung alam ko lang na taken siya ay hindi ko naman siya papatusin. Even if you say that I've been craving for sex for how many days because the midterms have just ended, at ilang linggo akong walang babae ng dahil doon, I would never go after someone who's already taken.

Hindi lang talaga ako marunong tumanggi sa biyaya at marunong magpasalamat.

"So it's you?! the guy who went after my girlfriend?"He said arrogantly while starting to crack his knuckles.

This motherfucker! Is he fucking serious? Who's what? Me? Chase someone's girlfriend?! Fucking no way!

Ladies chase after me! I don't even need to do anything and they're just coming to me.

But no, not now. I'm really tired because of school works, I just want to go home and rest.

I met his gaze with calm, my muscles tensing slightly "Don't know what you're talkin' about, move aside"

Dumetsyo ako ng lakad at ng makalampas ay hinila ni ang braso ko, marahas akong napaharap at nasalubong ko ang kamao niyang dumapo sa ilong ko.

This fucker! Is he planning to crush my nose?!

I remained standing, but I could feel the blood dripping from my nose due to the force of his punch. I endured the pain as they spread out, forming a semi-circle around me, cutting of any of my escape route.

I glanced around, sizing them up. He knew he was outnumbered, but he wasn't one to back down. "I don't want any trouble," I said evenly.

He smirked, throwing the first punch aimed at my face. But I was faster, ducking under the blow and countering with a quick jab to the gut that sent the leader staggering back, gasping for air.

The others hesitated for a moment, surprised by my speed and strength, but then they charged at me all at once. Seems like my training kicked in as I blocked a punch from the left, swinging my leg out to trip the attacker. As another tried to grab me from behind, I twisted, using the momentum to flip the assailant over my shoulder and onto the cold, hard floor.

Napangisi ako ng makita kung paano siya mamilipit sa sahig dahil sa ginawa ko.

A third came at me with a wild swing, but I ducked and delivered a swift uppercut, sending the attacker sprawling. The last two tried to double-team me, at hindi nga sila nabigo, napagtulungan nila ako ng maramdaman ang hilo sa suntok na natamo kanina.

Breathing heavily, I tried to stand up, enduring the pain, with one hand braced against the wall. They didn't hesitate to strike again when I felt a powerful punch at the back of my neck, forcing me to fall to the floor. Ramdam kong mas lalo akong nahili dahil sa lakas non.
