After that night, I could hardly stop smiling.

"What's with him?" Reid ask.

"Don't ask me, I don't know!" Dash snapped and acted as if he was creeped out.

"Stop it, bro. You're really getting creepy." Tristan said in disgust.

"You're really starting to scare us, bro." He added as an afterthought.

"Even me will be scared at him right now, he's being a creep" Larkin added fuel to the fire, making everyone laugh. I just rolled my eyes and ignored their teasing.

Who wouldn’t be smiling after a night like that?

“How was it? Was it good?” she asked, furrowing her brow as she looked at me.

I just stared back at her with a serious expression after tasting the food she gave me.

“Actually…” I paused, noticing how tense she was. “Yeah, it’s really good, delicious even,” I said sweetly.

I could eat this without getting tired of it. How did she make it? Not all the Bicol Express I've tried tastes like this, but this one? It's incredibly delicious.

The sweetness, saltiness, and spiciness were just right for my taste.

Her friend is lucky to be able to taste something this good. I'm just fortunate to have received it today.

If there were more, I might have asked for seconds, but that would be too embarrassing. I refused at first, so now, asking for more?

She giggled "R-really?"

Damn! It's always that small laugh of her.

I nodded repeatedly "Yeah. If you had cooked more, I probably would have asked for more. I really like this, it's so delicious."

I chuckled because of her reaction.

Oh god, I feely like my face is heating up.

"Then I'll cook...for...uhmm you again...i-if you...w-want" She said shyly.

Why is she acting shy? Shouldn't I be the one feeling embarrassed here?

Maybe she feels sorry for me after seeing what I bought, so she gave me the food that was supposed to be for her friend. But that’s her friend’s fault. I’m just really lucky.

It seems like God has been on my side these past few days.

"Why, why would you do that?" My face and tone turned serious.

I saw the worry in her blue eyes. Worry about whether she should say it or just keep it to herself.

"Uhmm... I've b-been...trying to...uhm practice my c-cooking skills" she pause. "I need...s-someone who...can uhm give me...feedbacks"She forced a smile and couldn't meet my eyes properly.

She's lying.

I can feel it.

I know I shouldn't ask about that, maybe she just wants to get to know me, or maybe she really just needs someone to give feedback on her cooking since she mentioned she's still practicing.
