Shorter than the others, but I hope its good enough. Vote and comment pretty please?!

Stepping out in the cold air, I sighed with relief when I saw Chase waiting outside in his car. I had called him when I got home last night asking if he could give me a lift, which he had agreed and even come early. I should have to find a way to thank him later. I turned to the door, shutting it before looking at the lock in shock. Had I really walked out of the door, without my keys again? Theres something retarded about me, I swear. I waved at Chase who looked at me confused and I pointed at the door. Running inside again, I picked the keys up from the side table, ran back out and locked the door. I opened the pasenger side of the car, and stepped in to see Chase looking at me weirdly.

"Did you really forget your keys after you locked yourself out of your own car yesterday?"

I pouted. There was no need to be rude.

I clicked on the radio and started to sing along to a few songs that played from the speakers. As much as I loved Daisy the Beetle, she didn't have a radio. Which left me humming random songs or if I remembered, I'd play my iPod, but whenever I was in the car with someone else, I loved taking advantage of their modern cars.

"Chase!" I shouted out randomly, causing Chase to step on the brakes a little and look at me hesitantly. "Oh, theres nothing wrong, I just remembered something." Chase sighed in reply.

He turned his attention back on the road and mumbled something along the lines of 'should of expected that from Nia...' Again, no need to be rude. "What was it that you remembered?" Chase asked grumly, taking the turning into the school gates.

I smiled. "Today is the carnival!" I said happily. Every year, our friendship group, (yes all seven of us) go to the carnival together. Usually people take dates with them too, but we make sure we all have a great time. The best ride for me, was difinitely the dodge 'ems. Those cars driving around were so fun. I always forced in all seven of us into seven different cars, and have a proper match of who could 'smash the most people' until we'd get kicked out.

"Oh yeah, about that..." Chase said, pulling into a parking space not too far away from school and rubbing the back of his neck. Oh God, he isn't coming. He's going to ruin the tradition. "I got asked by this girl to go to the carnival with her, and I said I would." I groaned internally.

And, bingo. He was going to the carnival, but with someone else. A girl. He had never chosen someone over us before...

I put my bag on my shoulder and got out of the car with him following. "Why can't she just tag along?" I asked while he shrugged. "Who is she anyway?"

Then, my questions got answered. "Chase!" A girl squealed from behind me. I turned around just to see the girl I was praying I had guessed wrong. She threw her arms around his neck and pressed her over painted lips, on his. I shuddered. Thankfully, she pulled her lips from his but left every inch of her body on his. "Baby, I thought I told you to stop hanging out with her." She spat at me.
