Who Knew?

    Her eyes scanning the paperwork. Sitting on her much authorised chair, she rested her one hand on the desk beside the papers as another one held the pen.
    When the entrance to her cabin made a click sound, opened swiftly, indicating an arrival. She lifted her head up in the direction, to find a woman in a Prussian blue outfit enter the room.
    Her blazer with a deep v-neck flaunted her confidence. Her brown hair perfectly set just above her waist, indicating much of her love for her hair. Her oval eyes condensed as she smiled at the younger lady in front of her.
    She walked to the highly furnished cough on the other side of the room, landing on it with a thump. 
    "Ana, Will got a call for a deal." She informed, causing the another one to look up from the files.
    "What deal?", Morana asked putting her pen and the file aside, drawing her whole attention to her older friend, Adeline West.
 

  Adeline made an annoyed face. "I don't know either. Will just called me saying he got a call from someone for a deal." She took her hair in a bunch tying them in a bun. Her long hair were undoubtedly beautiful but they often tickled her. So she would tie them up when anything serious was being discussed.

    Morana looked at her knowingly, Adeline's actions sometimes made ana doubt that she was a 27 years old lady.
    "Who was it?" She asked, her thick brows lifting as she does.
    "Just a second. I haven't checked yet." Adeline said. She pulled her phone out to check the details which, Will Peterson, their manager sent them.        
    "Here. He goes with the name Bang Si Hyuk."
She stopped to read the further details. She huffed a breath out before continuing. "Oh ana, He is that bang pd. He is currently the CEO of Bighit Entertainment. I don't know much about him but he and his company is currently talk of the city. A group of his is rapidly winning hearts all across the world. Not only that but they are winning huge in American award shows." She looked at her friend hoping that she must be knowing about this utterly famous person.
    But the look Morana delivered made it clear that she was not much aware about what her older friend was saying.
    "Listen adie." Morana started. "I'm too engaged in my own things to care about what is going on in this entertainment world. So, I don't have any clue who this Bang pd is."
    "But ana these guy is quite known right now. Not only U.S. or korea but the whole world is loosing their mind after them. How do you not know?" Adeline exclaimed.
    "Let the world be mindless then. I prefer having brain. Besides, what do we have to do with how famous or well known he is." She admitted. "All I care about is the money I will get if I make a deal with him." She declared with a straight face.
    Ana was not wrong, though. She was not the kind of person to give much attention to things that would not benifit her. She was a smart lady. Wasting her time after something that doesn't double her credit was not her thing.
    Adeline rolled her eyes at the younger lady, "Suit yourself."
    Ana laughed. She stood up from the chair closing the files, "let's have dinner, adie."
    "Mh", Adeline agreed as she stood up from the cough and both the female walked past the furnished door, leaving the room empty behind them.
    "When is the meeting, though?" Ana checked the watch while they reached the elevator. 8:45, it read.
    "11 pm" Adeline reported. She sucked a breath knowing very well that the person beside her is going to burst anytime. Who would not? 11 pm was not a time to attend a meeting.
    That too, with Morana Carter, an authority who wielded extreme power as the feared leader of the infernos gang. She had the whole underworld below her feet and it would not take her a minute to fill your head with bullets.
    Carter snapped her head to adie's side, her eyes slightly grew bigger out of both anger and amaze. She wondered if the woman with her mispelled something or she herself made a mistake hearing her, or if the older woman had lost her mind.
    "Do you even realise what you said?" Ana asked, her temper hardly in her control.
    "Listen, ana." Adie tried to explain herself. "I know you might think that I'm out of my mind but this was the best we could organise."
    "The best you say?" Ana ragged.
    "Yes." Adie admitted. "Will said that Mr. Bang is in high need. He can't wait till tomorrow. He want to meet us as soon as possible. So, the best we could arrange was 11 pm, all of us are busy with something till then."
    "But what's so urgent that he can't wait till tomorrow?! It's a matter of one night only. He will not die overnight." Ana hissed with every word she said and her eyes darkened.
    Adie rubbed her forehead in frustration. Even though she was older, she could not argue with Carter when she was angry. She knew the girl would go out of her mind if she was pissed futher more. So, she stayed quite. She can't get on her nerves.
