Chapter Three
So, I've been going from writing Station stories to OTH to The Fosters to Chicago PD/Law and Order SVU to Cobra Kai (Different account) and I have to keep double-checking character names lol. So, if I get any names incorrect, please forgive me and just calmly let me know. I have also been trying to update my Glee stories but once again, the dreaded writer's block.
They were caught up in their bubble when they heard Andy's phone ring and they jumped apart in alarm, both surprised by the loudness of the phone.
"Oh, my God. I am so sorry, Nat." Andy said as the phone continued to ring.
"It's okay." Natasha gave Andy a small smile. "You might want to pick that up though," Ross laughed.
Andy glared at her, pulled her phone out of her pocket and saw that it was the hospital calling. She looked up at Natasha, a panicked expression on her face. Natasha looked at the screen, saw 'Grey-Sloan' and grabbed Andy's hand. Ready to be there for her... Well, shit what are they? Ross questioned but shook her head, ready to be there for Andy good or bad as Andy answered her phone.
"Is this Andy Herrera?"
"it is," Andy answered nervously while Nat rubbed her thumb over Andy's hand. "What's going on?"
"Jack Gibson is ready to be released, I was just wondering who will be picking him up and taking care of him?"
"Marsha Smith will," Andy told the nurse, exhaling, thankful it wasn't bad news. "She and Jack have lived together in the past and she's the closest thing to a parental figure that he has," Andy explained and then hung up when the nurse got Marsha's information from Andy.
"Everything okay?" Natasha asked, still holding Andy's hand.
Andy nodded. "That was just a nurse at the hospital telling me that Jack is ready to be released, so yes, everything is good." Andy smiled, thankful that Jack was getting better.
Natasha smiled back at Andy and the pair got out of the car and walked towards Natasha's apartment building. Andy was carrying her overnight bag in one hand while holding one of Natasha's hands in the other.
Once they were in the apartment Andy let out a low whistle, clearly impressed.
"Wow. Your place is amazing, Nat," Andy said, looking around and moving further in. She saw the kitchen and the island there and then turned around to look at Natasha who was closing the door.
"When I came to Seattle I fell in love with it. It was the 3rd place I saw, and I knew this was the apartment that would become my new home." Natasha explained, a soft smile on her face.
Andy smiled back and walked to Natasha and wrapped her arms around Natasha's neck. Feeling bold Andy pulled Natasha into a kiss. Natasha smiled into the kiss and gently led them over to the living room where they sat down on the couch, continuing to make out.
Andy, feeling bold started to move her hands under Natasha's shirt while Natasha ended up doing the same thing. She gently leaned back on the couch, bringing Andy on top of her, lips still connected.
It was a couple of minutes later when Andy's phone started to ring. Andy groaned and decided to ignore it and brought her lips back to Natasha's but when it started ringing again she grew concerned and picked it up off the coffee table. Andy looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Michelle.
"Michelle? What's up?" Andy asked, running a hand through her hair.
"Is this Andy Herrera?"
"It is," Andy said, sitting up, concern growing. Natasha watched Andy's face change from concern to scared and also sat up to rub Andy's back. "Is she okay?" Andy asked, voice shaking.
Natasha watched Andy's face turn pale and her eyes tear up, so she pulled her into her arms. A minute later Andy hung up the phone and leaned forward. She felt sick.
"Andy?" Natasha started softly. "What happened?" Natasha asked and grew even more concerned as Andy broke down into sobs.
Andy took a couple of minutes to calm down and then looked up at Natasha.
"Michelle got into a car accident with her parents last night," Andy explained, wiping the tears off her cheeks, which was pointless considering tears were still falling. "Her parents have some broken bones, but Michelle died on impact." Andy choked out, breaking down into sobs again. Natasha pulled her into her arms and rubbed her back. Her heart broke for Andy.
"Shh. It'll be okay, Andy. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere."
It seems to be a theme with me lately to kill off Michelle, whoops. I'll stop after this story, I swear. I also just wanted to update a story before I go camping from the 24th to the 28th.
