A ROOM OF SECRETS

CHAPTER 03:- The Truth.

Days passed, the bond between the three girls and the clingy lovey dovey couple was the same. It was a happy morning for everyone, every one was peacefully having their breakfast without any nuisance or disturbance. After breakfast, everyone decided to watch some television shows together but then the doorbell rang. Jake went and opened the door. He was met by an old man probably in his late 60s. He came inside the house and jezele offered him a glass of water. The old man was Mr.Smith. Mr. Smith was an old elderly man also the landlord who lived with his wife and was the neighbour of the three gorgeous girls.
Mr. Smith loved the three girls as his own daughters but he loved Jennie the most as he had seen her struggle the most in the initial days when she first started living here.
"I'm here for the rent of this month...." Mr. Smith said...
"yeah I'll get it just wait for 2 minutes " Amenda said and went into the bedroom. Every time Mr. Smith visits Jennie and makes sure to have a conversation with him but this time Mr. Smith noticed that Jennie wasn't speaking much and looked a bit worried.
After getting the rent Mr. Smith went and even Jennie decided to go to the nearest park to just clear her mind. When she went to the park, she met Mr. Smith again.
"Oh, hello uncle, how are you?" Jennie said trying to sound cool and calm.
I'm all good my child, but it seems like you are having some problems... What's wrong?" Mr. Smith asked. Then Jennie told her everything
oh my god should I talk to Sophia?" Mr. Smith asked out of concern to which Jennie shook her head in a no and said, " that will be totally useless... she thinks that he is a really good guy it's not her fault she's very innocent." Saying this she made her way back to her apartment.
"Hey, we are going to the mall for some shopping, wanna join?" Jezele asked.
No, both of you go have fun." Jennie replied and gave a small smile.
"Ok then, let's go Amenda... amenda..... hey are you listening?" jezele asked Amenda who was busy staring at Jake and Sophia with tears in her eyes. It was true that she hated him but she still had a soft corner for Jake in her heart. Hearing jezele shouting her name, she came back to her senses and said yeah come on let's go we'll be late

When jezele and amenda went shopping, it was only Jake, Sophia and Jennie in the house. Jennie decided to go to her room and read some books and listen to some good music to avoid the drama of the two. When Jennie was immersed in her book she suddenly heard the sounds of someone laughing like a maniac. She kept her books and her earphones a side and thought they must be cracking some random jokes but the next line she heard made her shake to the core.
"Your sister is such a fool!" said Jake.
"I know right..... she's such a dumb person who thinks that a person like you would actually change for good" Sophia replied.
"Yeah, a dumb sister who couldn't even know that her own beloved sister helped me to take over her company." Jake said and had a smirk on his face.

Anger built inside Jennie but she decided to hold it back. She went to her cupboard and took out her diary and started writing down her emotions in it.

The whole day passed everyone was now at the dining table for dinner and now Jennie tried to look normal and portray that she didn't see or hear anything.
