CHAPTER 04:- The Silence before the Storm

The next day as usual, everyone was busy with their own work. Amenda went to the hospital, Jezele went for her work and Jennie to her café where as both the lovey dovey couple were still at at those girls's apartment and planned to do something fun. So they decided to roam around the city. The whole day they spent a good time at the amusement park, later went for shopping and the last thing they did was going to a movie theatre and watch a movie together.
It was now 1:00 in the night when they were still on the road waiting for a cab, but it wasn't possible for them to get a cab at that hour. Luck would have been on their side if anyone of them would have a bike or a car of their own. They were waiting for a cab but it was of no use. Suddenly Sophia felt someone's eye on them.

"Jake, I feel someone's watching us from behind." She said in a very low voice to which he turned around and saw a man in a white hoodie and black jeans wearing a black cap, a black mask and sunglasses. Jake scoffed and said.
"Strange..."
"Huh... what do you mean strange Jake he's continuously looking towards us.. don't you find it weird?" Sophia said being a little frustrated.
"No actually I've seen this person in the movie theatre along with us today and he was continuously looking around me as if I have committed a crime or something..." Jake said being in shock.
we should go from here right now and. was about to complete her statement but was cut off because of a horn. "Sophia

"Should I drop you somewhere? it's quite late at night and it's not safe for kids like you to be out." An old lady in her mid 50s said from her car.
"Yes please we would be very thankful if you help us." Sophia said and dragged Jake with her to the back seat of the car.
The whole ride was silent so the old lady decided to start a small talk with them.
"So where do you kids exactly live?" she asked
ummm... at  shine apartment near the sunshine playschool." Jake answered.
They were having a good talk until Jake saw the same white hoodie guy on the bike trying to chase them. He signaled Sophia about it and now both just prayed for their safety. It wasn't enough for them that the old lady again started questioning them which now due to fear Sophia uia yelled and said, "JUST KEEP ON DRIVING WHY DO HAVE TO ASK SO MANY QUESTIONS!?"

"Oh my god! You kids have no respect towards elders."
I hate such kids, if you would have been my grand daughter and grandson, I would have definitely hit you with my stick." The lady said being pissed off.
"sorry, we are extremely sorry... it wasn't her intention to shout." Jake said and handled the situation to which the lady kept on driving and murmured, "huh such kids should be beaten up really good." Again now the whole ride was silent and the white hoodie guy was still behind them.
As soon as they reached near the apartment, they went towards the apartment without even thanking the lady. The thing now was the old lady and even the white hoodie guy were still near the apartment looking towards it and went away after having a good look at it for 10 minutes.
