Virella's back! After weeks away filming in New York, she's thrilled to return to Pittsburgh and be back with Chloe and the rest of the girls. She's missed her team and is ready to jump right back into the chaos. But more than anything, she's excited for her private lessons with Tessa. While in New York, Virella joined the Joffrey Ballet Academy, where Tessa worked.

"Girls, come on! Let's go! Let's give a big round of applause. I think we made applesauce, don't you?" Abby announces dramatically, gesturing toward the group.

"The group won the overall, but that was one competition. For this week, we are going to Starbound in New Jersey. When we walk into Starbound, you need to be those national champions. Alright, on the bottom..." Abby begins her infamous pyramid.

"Nia. Simply because of the mistake in the choreography. And that dance is easy; it's simple," Abby states, barely glancing at Holly's growing irritation.

"Next, I have Kendall. You need to learn to read music, and you need to learn to hear the music," Abby critiques sharply.

"Next, Lacey. You couldn't keep up. You were offbeat, and nothing was straight. I'm going to keep both of you on probation. Until I hand you those jackets, you're still proving yourselves," Abby explains, eyeing both Jill and Fraya.

"Paige, I've seen you do the press better. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. I thought you did a nice job," Abby says, moving on, though Kelly's tight-lipped expression suggests she doesn't appreciate the backhanded compliment.

"Next, Mackenzie. This week, you are not in the group. You are going to do a solo," Abby announces, surprising Melissa but not giving her a chance to argue.

"Next, Virella. You're back!" Abby exclaims with excitement, and all of the girls hug her tightly—except Kendall and Lacey, who were really awkward. "You're getting a solo. Can you keep that winning streak?" Abby asks, smiling at Virella, who beams and nods confidently.

How on Gods green earth is Virella that high on the pyramid? She hasn't been here for three weeks! Abby always says dance comes first but i guess not for everyone.| Kelly hyland

"Alright, next I have Maddie. You were the highest-scoring number in the entire competition. That proves to me that you can win when Virella's not there. Why do you think you're not at the top? I want you to stop resting on your laurels. I want you to keep improving for the next 20 years, not for one competition. Do you understand?" Abby asks, and Maddie nods solemnly. "So, you impressed them. I want you to impress me like Virella does," Abby adds pointedly, a comment that makes Jill's and Fraya's jaws clench in irritation.

"Next, I have Chloe. Chloe, you didn't do a solo last week, but you were great in the group. People are recognizing you from the music video. But I want them to recognize you for your dancing. Understood?" Abby asks, and Chloe nods, her face lighting up at the acknowledgment.

"And on top of the pyramid this week is Brooke. You went out there, you proved yourself. I mean, you went from worst to best in one week," Abby declares. She points to the bottom of the pyramid as she says "worst," causing Virella to frown—being placed there, even when she wasn't present, feels like a dig.

"You're the oldest person in this group, and you need to be the role model. That needs to continue," Abby demands, and Brooke nods.

"Mackenzie, you're doing a routine entitled My Parade, and it's all about you, kiddo. You're going to march out of that corner like you're the leader of the big parade," Abby instructs with a pointed look. Mackenzie nods
