Cedric stood up from Elizabeth's bed and began to walk out, nodding to George as he did. Before he could even get an inch away from her room, the door was slammed right behind him. He jumped at the sudden loud noise, but shook it off as he made his way to his room which was on the opposite side of the Hufflepuff common room. When he entered his room, which was plastered with posters of movies and muggle bands, he was greeted by his black cat, Zero. Cedric picked up his cat and walked over to his bed, sitting on the edge of it. He was still in a lot of pain from the battle that he had just endured, but he could hardly focus on that after the moment he just had with Elizabeth.

The boy could not for the life of him get her off of his mind. She was all he thought about 24/7, but she's got a boyfriend. Despite Cedric's flirtatious tendencies, he was not a homewrecker and he did respect George. However, if the Gryffindor boy hadn't walked in when he did, Cedric wasn't too sure what would've happened. A really big part of him wished that him and Elizabeth could've been alone for at least a little longer so that he could've seen if it was all in his mind, or if she had feelings for him as well.

Cedric loved on his cat for a bit before getting up and changing into his pajamas, which was just a pair of yellow and black plaid sleep pants while the upper half of his body was bare. He gave Zero some food and water before he crawled into bed and slipped himself under his covers. He attempted to sleep, but it was pointless. He could not stop thinking about the dark haired Hufflepuff that he had fallen head over heels for and the moment they had just shared together. She was so gentle, so kind, and breathtakingly beautiful, how could anyone not fall in love with her.

The next morning, Cedric was disruptively woken up by his alarm basically screaming in his ear. He slowly opened his eyes and hit snooze on the alarm clock that laid on his night stand. He was more of a morning person than a night owl, so he was always the most at peace in the morning. He sat up in his bed and gave Zero a couple kisses before swinging his legs over the edge of the bed and standing up tiredly. Despite him being a morning person, he didn't get the best sleep the night before, so he was relatively groggy. He yawned as he dragged his wounded body into his small bathroom. He opened the shower curtain and turned the knobs, causing warm water to spew from the faucet above. He unclothed himself, as well as removed the band-aid that Elizabeth had so kindly patched him up with, and stepped into the shower. The warm water washed over his body and sunk into his skin, he leaned his head back as he took in the heat from the shower. Though his body was basically numb and he was moving as slow as a tortoise, his mind was not. He had at least a hundred thoughts zooming through his brain, ninety nine of them being Elizabeth.

Cedric finished up in the shower and stepped out, slipping the yellow towel off of the rack attached to the wall. He ruffled his hair with it, in an attempt to dry it at least slightly, before he wrapped it around his waist. He then stood in front of the sink and wiped off the now foggy mirror that was above it. He observed himself through his reflection and noticed that the scar he had gotten from the battle the day before had gotten pretty bruised. He released a deep breath before brushing his teeth. Once he was done, he made his way back into his room, which was brightened up due to the sun light beaming through his windows, and he changed into his Hufflepuff uniform. After he was fully clothed, he said goodbye to his cat, made sure he had his wand, and threw on his cape-like robe before finally walking out of his room and into the common room. When he entered the area, he could hear faint shouting coming from the top of the stairs that led to the girl's dormitory. He grew a confused, yet curious, look on his face as he began to climb the stairs.

Cedric was shocked to find out that the arguing was coming from Elizabeth's room. Just as he was about to knock, George swung open the door with a furious expression plastered on his face. "Oh, bloody hell! He knows, doesn't he?! I bet you told Diggory all about it!" George shouted as he turned his body back towards Elizabeth, who was sitting on the edge of the bed crying. "No, George! For the love of Merlin, just get out!" The distressed girl screamed as tears strolled down her face. George darted his eyes back to Cedric before finally storming away. The Hufflepuff boy just stood there. What the hell just happened?
