"Dzaka! Can you help me?"Abi shouted through the house, his hands holding a big box filled with trinkets, notably some lights, mattresses and books. His voice echoed through the house until it subtly disappeared, replaced with the sound of footsteps getting closer.
"Do you need anything mas?" The teen walked in looking alert as he saw what his older brother was holding.
"And what are you holding?" Dzaka asked, pointing at the box.
"We will be having a visitor, he will be staying with us for a while" Abi said as he walked towards the metal stairs.
"I need you to help me prepare for his arrival" Abi said as Dzaka ohhed.
"Is he also going to study under you?" Dzaka asked as he followed his brother, to which a nod came from the elder.
"Yes, and you can possibly have a new friend to share your ideas with," Abi said with a smile.
"Now, can you help with opening up the attic?" He asked Dzaka as the teen nodded and went up the metal stairs, with his right hand he pushed the attic door and went up, his face was met with dust flying all over the opening, inhaling a bit of the dust he coughed and sneezed.
"I think we need to deep clean the attic mas-" he sneezed, Abi chuckled at Dzaka's remark.
"Alright, now get down here and find some cloth, we can't introduce our visitor if we're sneezing and coughing" Abi said as Dzaka made his way down the metal stairs.
Reaching the floor he brushes off the dust that sticks to his clothes and walks away.
Abi puts down the box on a nearby table and goes to get some cleaning supplies. The two return with what they need to clean the attic, Dzaka with two cloths and Abi with the cleaning supplies.
Dzaka gave one of the cloth to Abi, they both covered their nose and mouth with it, tying it at the back.
Hours went by as they dusted the ceiling and swept the floor, followed by them wiping the floor with a damp towel. They went downstairs to wait for the floor to dry.
"I have a small bedside drawer, do you mind helping me get it up there?" Abi asked untying the cloth and putting it near the box he put down.
"Of course!" Dzaka nodded as he struggled to untie his cloth.
Abi helped a bit with loosening the cloth but to no use, Dzaka then forcefully pulled the cloth through his face and hair. He let out a heavy sigh and threw the cloth at the desk near them, his face sting's a bit from the friction he caused as he tidy up his hair.
After the bit of fiasco, the two went to get the bedside drawer to put it inside the attic. Dzaka helped his brother carry it from the top, not wanting the drawer and his brother to fall, while Abi carefully lifted it through the metal stairs one at a time.
They manage to get the drawer into the attic. Dzaka pushed it near the wall, while Abi entered with the box on one of his arms.
"Alright that will do, let's put down the other's" Abi said as he got out a lamp and put it on top of the drawer.
They proceed to put some book's and lay down a mattress, smoothing it out in the process as well.
"Is that all mas?", Dzaka asked as Abi nodded with a smile.
"That's all, thank you for helping me Dzaka" Abi said, patting the other's shoulder.
"Now let's clean ourselves, our visitor should be arriving" Abi said walking away as Dzaka followed closely behind him.
