He pulled up around six thirty early dressed in a dark maroon dress jacket. Nice dark black slacks. A white button-down shirt that hugged his muscles. A gold watch his grandfather passed to him. And of course, his red Corvet and nice leather loafers. But compared to him, he felt time just freeze. black dress that really looked like she was poured inside like fine wine. Her hair is in two beautiful braided buns. A couple stray curls bouncing off her ample bountiful cleavage. That bounced as she desended the stairs. Not a sound escaped his mouth. He just extended his hand
She stood to his shoulders. A chubby build, but she carried herself tall and proud tonight. Carmel colored skin and the most beautiful brown eyes. Like darkened honey. Her chubby hand landed in his, and it took everything in his body not to just devor her very essence. They got to the restaurant. He opened the door for her and pulled out her chair. She sat, and the Stares started. Mouths went dry. Eyes were hungry. He really wanted to punish her too much, too beautiful. He smiled uncomfortably. He took her hand some eyes watched some looked away. The waiter, a man as well, even had trouble breathing talking around her. They ordered. Carried conversations. "So like a office shark. But at night, what did you say. "A real tiger he laughed at her confused face. "Tiger ha ha. Silly." His ears turned red and moment. How dare she effect him. His face slipped a little. But he controlled it. He pulled her hand to his lips, and the waiter cleared his throat. "Your order." When Paul looked up, he saw the pure jealousy written clear across the man's face. He smirked. Two salads d a steak medium rare and medium for the lady. She blushed, and the waiter was about to stomp off. " Oh, and the finest red wine that pairs with our steak, my good man. " The waiter whirled around a really big cheesey grin. "That's quite an expensive ask, sir. we wouldn't want to hurt your poor wallet. " A slick smile replaced the other. Look upon the other man's face. "Let me worry about my poor wallet and do as I asked. I don't think I asked your thoughts on my financial issues. " Paul said, looking all calm and actually friendly sounding. The waiter sneered at Paul and stomped off. "Popular." She looked up shy. "Popular?" Her head tilted." You're too popular here, " Paul said. She shook her head sadly. It's the bad rumors. "Rumors?"" Our family is supposed to be cursed." She stated as if it was normal to be this way. He smiled. " No, it's because you look so different. " He spat out. She flinched, and he smiled. "Sorry, just feels weird all these stares." He shifted in his seat
Her eyes lit up. " it's because you're so handsome. " The light giggle that followed the sentence relaxed him. He sighed, grabbed her hand, and squeezed until she tried to take the hand back. Seeing her eyes widen. He pulled his hand back. "Sorry. " She shook her head and rubbed her hand. " You're just nervous it's ok." He smiled deep inside. "No." "It's because he leaned in towards her. You are mine." He laughed as she blushed. She opened closed her mouth several times. He smirked, "That's right. Keep that pretty mouth shut. She just smiled, unable to read his mind. The meal came, but he got up, paid the bill, and gave a tip grabbed her hand."I got a better idea baby let's get you alone isolated." He said a smile. He started jogging, making her cleavage bounce. They got outside, and she was overly out of breath. He was winded but just laughing . They both laughed and ran to the nearest gas station. He bout junk food, and they found a great spot out on the grass on this amazing medow she knew. He laid down his jacket for her. They sat huddled in the cold, watching the stars. Some sparkled brightly. Some more dim burned warmly like classic Christmas lights. "Was that too crazy for a first date?" He asked. She shook her head no. A big smile on her beautiful chubby face. " It's was amazing at the restaurant. I felt scared stuffy. It felt like there was so much. Pressure to be perfect. Not seen." She goes quiet. " You know the worst thing about this town? My mom was murdered here by my own Dad. My family doesn't know I know now. They shelter me from stuff like this. So I eat my feelings. I got bigger and couldn't see my feet, and everything seemed even worse. Going out in town was a nightmare. " He looked at her, and his mood softened. "Life is like an ocean Kit. It's filled with dangerous fish, sharp coral, and things that would never exist until you see it. Yeah, there are neutral fish. Yet think like this if you don't swim, you will drown. If you swim, you could be devoured. No matter the choice, it could mess your life up. The journey of it is learning new ways to adapt. Camouflage, and survive amongst the hunters." Paul went quiet. She sat in silence. "Interesting. I thought you say something so smart. You look so smart. I get it. Yeah, like it's always going to suck but we can get through." She giggled. He smacked his head. He groaned. They both laughed so hard. Paul drove Kit home. And he walked her to her door. The air became tense. Heavy Kit opened the door shut It so slow she slid to the floor, breath shaky. Her mind so whirled. Everything was so perfect, like a magic spell had woven over that night. A light knock startled. Her heart rose in her cheeks. Had he come back for a kiss? She opened the door, and a cardboard box sat on her porch.
