Stepping out of the car Lana stretched staring at her new home. Smaller then the last, but she could finally have a fresh start in the simple town in Michigan. She walked up to the door and opened it the dusty smell filling her nose. She was hesitant but slowly walked in coughing as dust filled her lungs. She reached in her small baby blue bag and pulled out her inhaler.

Lana got up looking around her room and stared at her phone the alarm blaring signaling her first day of school. She groaned, but at least she wouldn't be the target to those girls horrible torture. She walked to the closest grabbing her uniform. "This is so ugly. I miss the oaktrim high uniform" she grumbled to herself. The color of her new uniform was black, gray and white. The most simple color scheme know to man. The only pop of color would be the golden buttons and sage green lace tights. "Lana are you up?" Lana jumped looking at the door seeing her mother. "Yes?" Her mom glared at her before walking off. Lana's mom never liked her, and probably never would. Lana was more of a trouble maker type. Sneaking out, doing drugs, drinking... All that crazy teen things. But Lana promised herself she would be different this year. Or would she?
Lana walked into the school looking around her eye caught on a girl with gorgeous dark red and black hair. Lana's hair was long and more of a greeny brown. She coughed and quickly rushed past to go to the office for her class schedule. Something raced through Lana's mind. "Why was she so pretty?" She was confused but went to her locker; "Oh yeah! I heard there would be a new girl" A girl said standing by her locker. Lana walked up and whispered "I'm sorry excuse me my locker is right there." The girl turned "The same girl from the this morning?" Lana stared at her and half smiled before getting into her locker putting her stuff inside. "You must be the new girl! My name is Delilah, and this is Marv." Delilah said cheerfully. Lana looked over and saw a dude standing next to her. He had longer hair for a guy and didn't talk. He seemed greasy and gross. Lana didn't say a word before saying "Oh I'm Lana." Delilah smiled "See you around Lana!" They walked away and Lana stared before quickly rushing to her first class in this new school; She sat down and looked over. Marv the person that one girl Delilah was with. He grabbed Lana's arm and glared at her before mumbling "Stay away from Delilah. She's my girlfriend, and she only needs me. You are just gonna hurt her." Lana snatched her hand back. "Fuck off." She turned back to the teacher paying attention and ignoring that prick. The day flew past. Turns out that other then her first hour, Delilah was in all off her classes. She was seated next to her each time.

Lana walked into the building smiling to herself as she stared at her phone. Delilah and her had hung out the night before and had a great time. Lana felt like she could finally belong; The smile was quickly wiped off her face as she looked over at Marv and Delilah making out. Marv was still rude to her. Glaring at her and being cold. Making sure Lana and Delilah never hung out. Lana walked up and tapped Delilah. "It was nice hanging out with you yesterday! I'll see you in 2nd hour?" Delilah smiled and the bell rung. She looked at her watch and bolted leaving Lana and Marv. Marv grabbed Lana's shirt "I told you to stay away from her." Lana smiled and pushed him away before walking down the hallway; She sat down next to Delilah and said "Hey!" Little did she know a girl was right behind her. From what I heard her name was Macey. Odd name but her parents probably just wanted to be different. She was Delilah's "best friend" Lana turned her head and whispered "oh sorry." She got up and quickly moved over to the other side of Delilah. Lana was quick to get ignored by the both girls. She stared at her paper; Lana got into her moms car and stuck her face into her book. "Do I have to go to school tomorrow?" Her mom nodded before driving off.

Time passed by quicker then ever. It was already Lana's sophomore year of high school. She wasn't happy... But who knows? Maybe this year will throw her in a storm of changing emotions.
