"Let him, Bill. Maybe this time, he will protect you"

Bill walked through the Berlin street, looking down at his shoes, kicking the rock that was in his path. Oh, his head was a total mess, thoughts swirling around his mind, and he just couldn't understand. Why Edward? After 5 years of ending everything that he had with Edward, the older man just came back. How? And what did his father want from that? Technically, Bill doesn't have a father anymore, just because of Edward. It's not Edward's fault at all, but Tom blames him, and no one else. It was Tom's father fault that he couldn't accept that Bill likes men, too. Everything was too difficult and confusing.

And those words, those damn words that Edward said, it wasn't meant to hurt Bill at all, but it did. He knew how Edward could be. Edward wanted to annoy Tom, and he succeeded, but at the same time hurted Bill. His feelings are buried deep down in his heart. He worked so hard to forget Edward, not to love older, dominant man. Bill couldn't lie tho, he felt his heart racing when he saw Edward in Tom's office. After all, Edward was his first love.

But now, there is a problem, how can he convince Tom to leave Edward alone? It was harder than he thought. Tom thinks that Edward is abusive, but God damn, Edward was far from abusive. He's actually very caring, even if he doesn't show that. Maybe that's why Bill fell in love with him, even if the rules forbidden that. Things happen in life, and Bill can't change that, especially what happened 5 years ago. It's not his responsibility anymore, actually. But why does it still hurt. Deep down, he still feels that pain he has gone through to let go of Edward.

Bill shook his head, it was enough for him to think about Edward and that stupid situation in Tom's office. So, he opened cafés door, and walked in, looking around for empty spot, which was next to the window. Bill took off his coat, hanging it on a hanger, and sat down, running his fingers through his black hair.

"Hello, what you would like to order?"

Soft voice rang in his ears, and he lifted his eyes up to meet up with gray ones. Bill forced out a smile and fixed his posture.

"Espresso" Bill said, his eyes lingering down and up, watching the young woman taking his order, without a care in the world. Like everything is perfect, and the world continues spinning. For Bill, it was stopping, each moment, with each thought that passed his head.

"Bill!"

Stefa quickly turned to the voice, and she frowned, watching how panicked Tom was walking towards the man that Leila just took the order from. Stefa turned to Leila, and arched her eyebrow.

"Tom knows him?" Leila's friend asked, while preparing coffee for a customer. Leila turned to look at Bill and their boss.

"I don't know" Leila shrugged, but her eyes stayed on Bill, watching his expression the moment he saw Tom walking towards him. She narrowed her eyes, she wanted to know, she wanted to ask, but she shouldn't, it's not her place to ask, they don't know each other personally, and just the thought that he and Leila met up after discussed some things, was making her panic a bit. "It's none of our business"

Bill looked up at Tom, rolling his eyes. He didn't want to be rude to Tom, he really didn't, but he had enough of everything. Every single little thing was like a burden to him, and he just couldn't handle it anymore.

"Please, Tom, not in front of everyone" Bill said, his tone almost pleading, begging for it to stop, and just let him finally rest.

"Just tell me, why do you still stand up for him, after all the things he did to you?" Tom lowered his tone, and quickly looked around, locking his gaze with curious Stefa, who was standing behind the counter.

"Because you don't know the whole truth" Bill said in small whisper. "You make me want to rip my hair out"

Tom sighed, looking back at Bill. He pulled the chair and sat down, massaging his temples. The whole truth? The only truth Tom believed in was that Edward abused Bill.

"Don't worry, I want to rip your hair out too" Tom scoffed, crossing his arms against his chest, while glaring at Bill. "I don't understand what our father thought. He knows that Edward is your past and he still did it"

"Because your father hates me" Bill glared back at his twin. It was painful to talk about his father, no matter how much he tried to convince himself that he got over it. "Just please, stop talking about it, at least not here"

It wasn't a good place to talk about their personal life, and Bill wanted to end this conversation as soon as possible, but he knew that Tom will not leave him alone.

But Tom nodded, he understood that Bill is not comfortable, so he won't put pressure on Bill at all. So, he just looked back at Stefa, who still was watching them. He couldn't suppress a soft chuckle at that. She's so cute when she's curious. Stefa amazed Tom in every single way.

"Stefa, bring me a glass of water" Tom smiled warmly at the gorgeous woman. Stefa widened her eyes in embarrassment, but she only nodded and grabbed clean glass, filling it with cold water, before bringing it to Tom.

"Here you go, boss" Stefa said, passing the glass of water to Tom, brushing their fingers together, when Tom took the glass from her.

Bill immediately understood that there was a spark of passion between Stefa and Tom, even the biggest fool would understand. And when Stefa left, Bill raised an eyebrow.

"Well, if you want, I can arrange a date" the younger twin said, impatiently waiting for his coffee, which Leila was supposed to bring.

"No, bosses can't sleep with employees" Tom rolled his eyes. "Indecent and impolite. Isn't that right, Bill?"

"My situation is much different than yours. I have rules and I don't want to break them and cross the line I draw, but you Tom, you can love her, cherish her and respect her. Take her out" Bill smiled at his confused brother. Their situations really differed significantly.

Bill's rules were simple but strict. Not only for his subjects, but also for himself. Although he never broke his own rules, he never hesitated to end the contracts of those who broke the rules, thinking that they would be the lucky ones and the chosen ones. The frienship, the trust, immediately collapses, as soon as Bill saw a speck of warmth in their eyes, or heard the words: "I love you, sir". Bill never meant to hurt his subjects, but rules are rules. And he created them to protect himself.

"Sir, your coffee" the young woman's voice broke Bill's thoughts and he flinched. He was staring at one point for too long with his head tilted to the left, probably looking like a pervert checking out girls or some kind of drug addict, when really, he was just thinking about the stupid rules.

"Thanks" Bill whispered as he nodded to Leila. He locked eyes with her, looking into her gray eyes, thinking about the unsigned contract between them. After Leila left, Bill looked at Tom. "Whatever you think about, it won't happen"

"And I didn't think about anything" Tom laughed. But he thought. About a lot of things. "I just...I don't want Leila to become your submissive. That would be too weird."

Bill's breath hitched.
