The start of this story is clunky and kind of hard to read but it gets better and I'm too lazy to go back and fix it, so I recommended just skimming through till you get to Making Intentions Clear.

In the Judgment Day locker room. Y/N was preparing for his match.
Rhea: Are you sure you don't want our help?
Y/N: Guys I got this.
Rhea: It's impossible to know.
Y/N: I know that but I want this championship to be the best man wins every night and do that I need to adapt on the fly. I honored you guys when you said you wanted to do it alone. So I would like you guys to honor that same commitment.
Y/N exited the ring with his Undisputed WWE Championship.
Y/N came down to the ring as the crowd sang his song. He stood in the middle of the ring as the crowd sang, their musical session was interrupted when Matt Riddle's music played wiping the smile straight off Y/N's face.
This was going to be a tough match.
Ring Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
The crowd cheered as Y/N looked around with a nonchalant smirk.
Ring Announcer: Introducing the challenger, weighing in at 216 pounds, Matt Riddle.
The crowd cheered for the challenger.
Ring Announcer: Introducing the Champion, weighing in at 210 pounds. He is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, "The Nightmare" Y/N L/N.
The crowd began to sing the song of the champion starting to play singalong something Y/N had no problem with as he gloated Y/N gloated lifting the Undisputed WWE Championship in front of Riddle.
Y/N: Take it in, look at it real close because this is the closest you're ever going to get.
Finally, the bell rang. The match started and Riddle came straight out of the gates running at the Undisputed WWE Champion and quickly penned the champion in the corner with an onslaught of kicks.

Riddle continued the assault until the referee broke it up. But Riddle just recommenced still holding a grudge against someone he once called a friend.
In fairness, Y/N hadn't thought about Riddle in a long time and if Y/N was being truthful they were never friends.
Riddle ran to the other side of the ring going for a forearm smash but Y/N caught him and hit Riddle with a superplex into the turnbuckles.
