Abigael: *thinking about Tyler* *has a flashback* Alastor: *welcoming guests* Tyler: Ughhhh, Dude, how are you not bored by all of this? Hunter: Oh, trust me, I am. I'd rather be stacking up dead bodies than being here right now. But the best way to get through it is to just nod and smile politely. You know dad hates it when we ruin his important events. He wouldn't even let Parker come because he'd be so embarrassed by how weak his son is. Tyler: No, but, seriously dude, the only interesting thing about this stupid party is the ladies. Hunter: *chuckles* Yeah, you might be right about that. Tyler: *sees Abigael* Speaking of ladies, time to turn on the charm. *walks down the stairs* Hunter: Go get 'em, Tiger. Tyler: *walks up to her* Penny for your thoughts, Darling? Abigael: And you are....? Tyler: Why, I am the charming, devilishly handsome, Tyler Caine, pleased to make your acquaintance *kisses her hand* Abigael: Oh, quite the gentleman you are. Tyler: Well, what can I say, I was raised the right way. Abigael: *smiles* So, Alastor's your father? Tyler: Yes. And that handsome fellow standing next to him is my older brother Hunter. I don't know how he can stand going through events like these, in my opinion the only interesting thing about them is the gorgeous ladies like you I find. Abigael: You are such a flirt, aren't you? Tyler: Well, if I'm not being too forward, how about I take somewhere a little more private. Abigael: And why should I trust you? Tyler: Because I have nothing to hide. Seriously, you can ask anyone who knows me, I'm an open book. Abigael: Ok. I'll take it easy on you this time. But don't think you're getting anymore freepasses, Mr. Caine. Tyler: Oh, no need to be so formal, please, Call me Tyler. Or Ty, if you'd prefer. Abiagel: Ty it is then. Tyler: *smirks* *leads her to the private room* And ta-da! I know it's not much, but I spend most of my time at parties like these up here. It's sort of like a place where my mind can relax and take in the view of the lovely night. Abigael: Hmm. Do you take other girls up here? Tyler: Sometimes. Only when they're as special as you. Abigael: You know, I'll give it to you, you sure do know how to compliment a lady, don't you? Tyler: Well, I learned from the best, My father. Yeah, my old man was a real ladies man back in the day. And I guess I've always secretly wanted to follow in his footsteps. Maybe then he'll finally be proud of me. Abigael: *clears her throat* So, what exactly did you mean when you said that I'm "special"? Tyler: Well, I have this natural talent that I was sort of born with and I only show it to special girls like you. Abigael: Ok, so what is this special talent of yours? Tyler: Well, in order for me to show it to you, you're just gonna have to trust me. Abigael: Well, yeah, I mean besides the fact that we just met, and you kind of give off rich fuckboy vibes and you've been nothing but mysterious and flirty the entire twelve minutes I've known you, I basically have no reason not to trust you. Tyler: Ah, sarcasm. I personally think that just makes you a whole lot sexier. And besides, how can you distrust someone as handsome as me? Abigael: *sighs* You know what? Why the hell not? Tyler: Good. That's step one. Step two is give me your hand. Abigael: *gives him her hand* Tyler: Step three... *grabs a knife on the table* Just trust me ok? *cuts into her palm* Abigael: *winces in pain* Tyler: Ok. *sets the knife down* This is the fun part. *waves his hand over her cut* *heals her* There. All better. Abigael: *gasps softly* I-I-I-I've heard about people like you! You're one of those... um.. Whitelighters! Aren't you? Tyler: Yes, well, technically half Whitelighter, but who's counting? Abigael: *chuckles* That's awesome! Tyler: You know, I get the sense that you already knew I was magical as soon as you met me, didn't you? Abigael: I- Tyler: I mean, in order to get in this event you'd have to be some kind of magical creature. I'm even only here because it's my dad's event. Abigael: Well, yeah, I mean, I am a magical creature too, but I'm only here because I snuck in. Tyler: Really? What kind of magical creature are you? Abigael: I'm a half demon, half witch hybrid. Tyler: Ah, figures. Only a witch would know how to sneak in here undetected and only a demon would know how to blend in. That makes sense. So, what are your powers? Abigael: Well, *telekinetically picks up his wine glass and hands it to him* Tyler: You're a telekinetic. Simple and basic but still kinda cool if you ask me. What are your demon powers? Abigael: I never thought you'd ask. *phase shifts behind him* Tyler: Ah, phase shifting. What a coincidence I also happen to obtain that power. Maybe I've just found something we have in common. Besides good looks. Abigael: *chuckles* Tyler: *tries to kiss her* Abigael: *backs away* Hold up, that's a little too fast for me. Tyler: What do you mean? I thought you were picking up my vibe. Abigael: Yeah, and I guess I was but, there's still so much about you that I don't know. Tyler: Well, let me let you get to know me better. Ask me something, anything. Abigael: Really? Tyler: Yeah. Abigael: Ok. What's your zodiac sign? Tyler: Easy. It's Leo. August Twelfth. Abigael: Ok, how old are you? Tyler: Uh, 19. Abigael: What do you want to do when you get older? Tyler: Uh, sort of an inventor or something like that. But if that doesn't work out I guess I'll just take over my father's business. Abigael: Ok. Well, now you ask me something. Tyler: Ok. What's your zodiac sign? Abigael: Uh, I think it's gemini. June seventh. Tyler: Ok. What's your favorite color? Abigael: Um, I have to say it's a tie between silver and purple. Tyler: Really? Well, mine are Black and Gold. Abigael: Ok, honestly that makes a lot of sense. Tyler: *chuckles* Oh, here's a good one, what kind of spells do you do? Abigael: Um, it's a lot, really. My mother was really big on teaching me witchcraft and stuff, so, I do, in fact, know a lot of spells but the ones I use most are, Locator spells, Summoning spells, Magic blocking spells, and Protection spells. Tyler: Wow, that's interesting. Abigael: How so? Tyler: Well, let me ask you this, what's a spell that you've always wanted to cast but never knew how? Abigael: I guess.... A spell that makes you fly. Tyler: Why do I feel like that's a spell you already know how to cast? Come on there's gotta be something that you really want. That you crave. Other than me, of course. Abigael: *chuckles* Tyler: *chuckles* But still you can tell me. Abigael: Well, honestly it'd be how to get undying love from someone. Tyler: Well, that's nice but a love potion is too easy so tell me one more, weird and random thing. Abigael: Ok.... I want to know how to magically conceive babies. Tyler: huh? I'll tell you what. *grabs a piece of paper* *writes something down* I'll give you all three spells in exchange for a tiny vial of your blood. Abigael: Ok. Might I ask why? Tyler: Well, don't see me as a creep but I like to study all of the magical creatures I meet and sometimes I find out really cool stuff about them, like they might have a secret power they never knew about or they might even be related to a famous celebrity. Abigael: Yeah, I guess that is really cool. Tyler: So, what do you say? Abigael: Ok. Fine. Tyler: Good choice. I promise it will be totally worth it. *gives her the piece of paper* *hands her the knife and a vial* *hears Hunter calling his name* Ughh, don't mind that it's just my brother calling me down to, no doubt, welcome the special guests that I'm guessing have just arrived. Can you wait here for just a moment? I'll be back before you know it. Abigael: Uhh, Ok. Tyler: Ok. *kisses her head* *leaves* *out of flashback* Tyler: Hey, we've met before, have we? Abigael: Yeah, it was a couple of years ago at our father's gala event. Tyler: Wait did you say "our father?" Abigael: Yes I did. Years ago, I told you that we had a lot in common. I wasn't lying, I mean, we share a father, for god's sake. Tyler: So, how long have you known? Abigael: From the moment you told me you were Alastor's son. Tyler: Why did you wait all these years to tell me? Abigael: Because, I felt like you didn't deserve to know. I just couldn't fully trust you at that moment. But now I realized that I made a mistake and I should've told you, I'm sorry. Tyler: *sighs* Abigael: But, listen to me, Tyler. Our father has something big planned. And in order to stop we have to be reunited. We have to give him something to fear and I know we can do that with your magical knowledge. Besides, I'm doing this to protect my daughter, who I'm pretty sure would love to meet her Uncle Tyler. Tyler: You have a kid? Wow, I guess a lot has changed. Abigael: Yeah, no kidding. Tyler: What did you even really need me for anyways? Abigael: I wanted to talk to you about a certain coven of witches you've been associated with. The Jameson Coven. Now, after going inside Francesca's mind, I have reason to believe that the Coven you were raised by might know a way to help break the link between Hunter and Alastor. And I was hoping that you'd tell why that is. Tyler: Well, since Hunter is and has always been my older brother, I'll do it for him. But I'm not so sure that I'll do it for you. Abigael: *sighs* Tyler, why don't you just have a seat. Tyler: *sits down* Abigael: And start from the very beginning. Tyler: *starts from the very beginning* It was about 26 years ago. The Elders had failed their first attempt to create and separate Whitelighters and they had decided to try another option. Now, rumors were swirling around about a coven of Witches who mastered their birth powers and were looking to expand to a new kind of magic. They studied all kinds of Greek mythology and ancient witch-y lore all to come around to making a kind of magic that would allow them to create certain... creatures. Abigael: What do you mean "creatures"? Tyler: All kinds. Whatever kind they wanted. But what they were really aiming at, was creating a new species that could rule the kingdom of magic and finally make peace between witches and demons. Not like a Demon Overlord that would only speak for the demons or an Elder that would only speak for the witches but an All-powerful creature that would take the sides of both witches and demons and try to end an ever-lasting war between the two factions. *sighs* And when the Elders heard about them trying to undermine their authority and belittle them, they enacted a deal with the Coven. They wouldn't banish the lot of them to tartarus, so long as they help them find a way to create and separate Whitelighter. Now, seeing no other option, the Coven took the deal and made a new creature that had the ability to serve and protect whoever or whatever was in its care. The Elders took this and quite literally ran with it, making their own new species, Whitelighters. And the very first person that died and came back to be made a Whitelighter by the Jameson Coven was my mother, whom was killed and raped by my father to create me. And the Coven didn't know who the father was, they just knew that they had a child to raise. And they raised me. But, as I'm sure you can imagine, Alastor wasn't too happy about that and decided to mezmerize Francesca to extract the DNA from my mother's dead corpse and him to create my younger brother, Joshua. So he could have one of his own to raise instead of me. And asI grew up, I became one good-looking hunk of junk with a thirst for magical knowledge. I mean, the girls were crazy about me, so I decided to use that to my advantage and learn all I could about Magic and Spells and Potions. And by the time I was about fifteen, there was not a single thing about magic that I didn't know. Fast forward three years later, I was eighteen, and the Coven decided to let me go and live my life and that's when I started hanging around my Family. Well, mostly Hunter, My dad didn't want to see me, Parker was always sick and Joshua had distanced himself from the entire family and had just... left. I never even really knew him that well but he was still my little brother. Abigael: Don't you mean our brother? Tyler: Yeah, our brother who you didn't even know existed till a second ago. Abigael: Just because I never knew he existed, doesn't make him any less our brother. Tyler: Yeah, and that may be true but I am more of a sibling to him than you'll ever be. *walks away* Abigael: Tyler, wait- *sighs* Hunter: *walks in* *bumps into him* Oh, sorry, Tyler? Tyler: Oh, hey, Hunter. Long time no see. Huter: What- I mean yeah I've sorta been dead but Abigael here resurrected me. Tyler: Yeah, I'd stay away from her if I were you, bro. She's nothing but trouble. Hunter: Ty, you do know that she is our sister, right? Tyler: Yeah. Which means she's capable of the exact same darkness that we are, possibly darker. So, you'd better watch your back around her, dude. You never know when she might stab you in it. *leaves* Hunter: *scoffs* What was all that about? Abigael: Oh, you know, the usual Caine family drama and something like that. Hunter: Well, why was Tyler upset at you? Abigael: Because I didn't tell him that I was his sister until years after we met, really it's stupid. But don't worry, he'll be back soon enough. *Meanwhile with Mel and Natalie* Natalie: *wakes up* starts crying* Mel: *wakes up* *groans* Don't worry, Nat. I'll be there in a second. *gets up* *goes over to her crib* Ay, mija, it's okay. Mama just needs to find your bottle real quick, ok? Ah, damn where is that thing? Natalie: *telekinetically floats it up to her* Mel: *grabs it out of the air* Was that you, mija? Wow, not even a year old and you've already practically mastered your telekinesis, huh? Natalie: *heats the bottle up with her powers* Mel: Okay, I think we're gonna need to have a little chat with Mommy about your powers, aren't we? *picks her up* *leaves the room* Mel: Abby? I need to talk to you about something. Abigael: Let me guess, it has something to do with Natalie, doesn't it? Natalie: *sees her Mommy* *giggles excitedly* *sets the fire place on fire* Abigael: Did she just...? Mel: That's kind of what I wanted to talk to you about, Abigael. Ever since this morning her powers have been rising to the surface. Abigael: Well, has she been able to control it? Mel: From what I've seen, yes. But I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they become out of hand and we can't have that. Abigael: Hmm. Here, let me hold her for a minute *holds her hands out* Mel: *gives the baby to her* Abigael: Hey, little one. *sits down with Mel and Natalie* You've been scaring Mama with your powers haven't you? Mel: What are we going to do, Abby? Abigael: Honestly, that feels like a question I've been asking myself ever since we had her. But I think our best option is to make sure she stays as calm as possible. Trust me, we don't need any magical outbursts on our hands. And as she gets old we'll start to teach her more control and then we won't have anything to worry about. Mel: Well, why isn't Waverly's Amulet working? Abigael: My guess would be that she's simply getting stronger, possibly a side effect to the cure for the Darkness Overtake that I gave her. It seems that the cure's purpose was to strengthen her demon side to a point where she can control it and the Amulet's purpose was to weaken your powers to a point where you can control it, meaning the most likely outcome of the two of them being intertwined would be for her powers becoming more powerful all together. I mean, she already is the daughter of a Charmed One and a Caine Demon Overlord so that's just like adding more fuel to the fire. Mel: Do you think she's going to be okay? Abigael: I'm sure she will, Melanie. Because you know that I'd move heaven and earth to make it so. *kisses Natalie's head* Tyler: *walks in* Really? You have a lot of nerve, don't you? Hunter: Tyler, what the hell are you talking about? Tyler: Just as I was about to leave, I was hit by a magical blast that kept me from leaving. Abigael: Well, maybe if you hadn't stormed out of here before I was able to tell you about the spell I put on you, making you incapable of being more than 30 feet from me, you wouldn't have fallen on your ass. Tyler: *scoffs* What more do you want from me, Abigael? Haven't I given you enough? Abigael: Actually you haven't. You may have told me about the Jameson Coven's history but you haven't told me all of it. You left out one big, important detail. Something about the Jameson Coven knowing a way to delink Hunter and Alastor. Tell me what that is, and I'll let you go. Tyler: Not that I believe you, but since I'm probably going to be here for a while, I'd best get comfortable. Mel: Yeah, and while you're at it, why don't you tell us what we need to know? Tyler: Ah, you're Melanie, aren't you? The Charmed One that was rumored to have a baby with the Demon Overlord. Mel: What are you talking about? Abby? Abigael: Not now, Melanie. Tyler, focus on the task at hand, won't you? Tyler: Fine. Whatever. *sighs* Years ago, when the magical world expected all their problems to be solved by the Elders, They decided to create a sort of magical invention that would rid the magical world of all its problems. Now, after they helped create Whitelighters, the Jameson Coven was the Elders' go-to group whenever they needed help doing something they didn't know how to do. Together, the two groups made this magical source that shot into the top of an abandoned cave, one that grew magical gems and crystals inside after getting hit by the power surge. Gems and crystals that were not only known to be the most powerful, but also used by the Elders to help out the magical world. Once they were done with them, the Elders wanted to burn them as they were no longer useful to them but one of the witches in the Coven had a premonition that they would need them way into the future. So, they came together and decided to seal the cave that they grew in, only to be unlocked by the blood, magic, and voice of two Elders and two Jameson witches. Now, I did my research and as it turns out, there are seven special gems inside that cave. Ones that have been rumored to be able to separate two magical sources. And my guess is that if we find that cave and get those gems, we will be able to delink Hunter and Alastor. Mel: Your guess? Don't you like, know all there is to know about magic or something? Tyler: I do, but then again with magic, there's really no telling what could happen. Who knows we might end up saying the wrong incantation and killing the both of them or something. But I can guarantee you that this is the best way to go about delinking them. Abigael: Yes, well, according to your story we need at least two Elders and two Jameson witches. Now, all of the Elders are dead so it looks like we're gonna be needing to perform some resurrections, and I already have my sister Waverly, but I doubt my mother would be willing to help us at all. So, we've got quite the little prediction on our hands here. Mel: Well, our best bet at getting Francesca to help us would probably be manipulation or something. But as far as resurrections go, maybe we could resurrect my mom? She was an Elder and I'm sure she'd be willing to help us. Abigael: Yeah, but we'd need at least two. Tyler: Oh, Wait, I forgot to mention, the two Elders and Jameson witches shall be selected at a matter fixated between the life and death of a Jameson witch and Elder descendant. Mel: Who could that be? Abigael: Natalie... Tyler: Well, I mean she is the granddaughter of a Jameson witch, Francesca, and an Elder, Mel's mother. Mel: Wait, but you said they would be selected at a matter fixated between life and death. What exactly does that mean? Tyler: It means that in order to find out the right people to resurrect, we need Natalie to be in a fixated space between life and death. Possibly like a.... Necro mind meld. Mel: What's that? Abigael: It's like a demon mind meld but you're doing it with a dead person. Tyler: Yeah, and we need Natalie to be in that mind meld in order to find out the right people to bring back from the dead. Mel: Well, do we know anyone that has that ability? Abigael: Tyler does. Don't you, Tyler? Or you know how to find someone who does, because if you didn't, you wouldn't even have brought it up, would you? Tyler: No, I wouldn't have. And I do. Know someone. He's my brother, Joshua. He gave up his Whitelighter powers for the ability to talk to the dead. Now, I'm thinking if we merge his mind meld power with his Necromancy, then we might be able to get something going here. Abigael: Well, it looks like this thing just got ten times more complicated. Tyler: Well, for now, I will try to find a way to reach Joshua and tell him our plan. Once I get to the part where it involves killing Alastor, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to oblige. *sarcastically smiles* *leaves* Mel: Are you sure you're gonna be okay with someone doing a mind meld on our daughter? Abigael: Relax, Melanie, it'll be fine. The moment I get even a sense that our daughter is in trouble, I swear, I will pull the plug on the entire thing. And, oh, I think someone needs a diaper change. Here, take Nat. Mel: *takes Natalie and goes to change her* *Meanwhile with Macy and Harry* Macy: *walks in* Hey, Harry. Harry: Hello, Macy. Macy: How do you feel? Harry: *sighs* Well, truth be told, I'm feeling a mixture of hopelessness, self doubt. I've never felt this way before. Macy: Well, I guess becoming a Whitelighter on and off again can do that to a person. Harry: Yeah, but there is something. Macy: What do you mean? Harry: Well, first off, I can't really explain what I saw in those nightmares, truth is, it was kind of all a blur, but what I do know is that whatever I saw made me realize I could only unlock my true potential by becoming a Whitelighter without powers. And I'm thinking I know why. Back in the day, the Elders gave Whitelighters the ability to grant another Whitelighter their former powers with a certain ritual that requires a coven of three witches. Once the ritual is performed, the Whitelighter will be able to have the powers they were meant to have, if they were not meant to be a Whitelighter then they will not be granted with Whitlighter powers. The Elders created this to see if Whitelighters were truly worthy of being a Whitelighter. Macy: Well, if this is something that requires a coven of three witches, I guess I'd better call my sisters. *calls Mel and Maggie* * *back at Abby's place* Tyler: *storms in* That did not go as planned. Abigael: *sushes Natalie* What are you talking about, Tyler? Tyler: I'm talking about how stupid Joshua is, I mean, not sticking by your family when they need you the most is absolutely the lowest of lows. Now, I get that we are a pretty dysfunctional family, but you can count on us to show up with a knife and a body bag when you need us. I mean, you needed me and here I am helping you out despite our differences. Abigael: *shushes her again* Sorry, Tyler, but Natalie wants her Mama and Mel is busy helping her sisters out with something so she's having a fit. So, would it help if you just held her for a second, maybe? Tyler: *sighs* All right, let's see the little yapper then. *holds his hands out* Abigael: *gives the baby to him* Tyler: *shushes her* Wow, you two really did a good job with her, she's adorable, Abby. Abigael: *smiles* Hey, Nat. That's your Uncle Tyler. Tyler: *looks into her eyes* She's got your eyes, Abby. And she's even got the little tint of evil in them, But that's just how you know she's a Caine. Abigael: *chuckles* Tyler: You know, to tell you the truth, I could've easily found a way to reverse the spell you put on me. But for some reason, I just didn't want to. And I was struggling trying to figure out what the reason was until now. Now I realize that I wanted a family, I wanted siblings, and I wanted to have someone to fall back on, someone I could trust. Because besides Hunter, I never really had that growing up. You have no idea how badly I wanted to meet my sister. I never knew that I really knew her all along. But I guess I should've known. When I first looked into your eyes, I saw the same little tint of evil in your eyes that should've told me right then and there who you really were. But like the fool I am, I ignored it. And now I just can't stop myself from regretting the fact that I did. Abigael: Tyler, let me ask you something. Did you tell Joshua any of what you're telling me? Tyler: No. Abigael: Well, maybe if you did, he might be more willing to do the merge. If not then let me talk to him. I've been known to have kind of a knack when it comes to the art of persuasion. *smirks* *back at Vera Manor* Mel: *making potions* Macy: Well, what have we here? Has the Potion Princess finally come out of retirement? Mel: Only when necessary. Natalie's powers have been resurfacing lately and I just want to be ready for a magical outburst that could possibly end all life as we know it. Macy: Wow, seems like you already have a lot on your hands, maybe I shouldn't have called you here. Mel: No, Macy, it's fine, if anyone can handle Natalie, it's Abby. Besides, when is the last time we've gotten to handle something like the badass Charmed Ones we truly are? Macy: Since Jordan's exorcism.... Mel: Exactly. So, let's just- Macy: Wait. That's it! Mel: What are you talking about? Macy: It's just that I've been racking my brain, trying to figure out why the ritual we're needed for requires a coven of three witches. And when I was thinking about Jordan's exorcism, I remembered how your baby enhanced the spell we used so that it wouldn't phase TWE like it was doing. What if the witches' purpose is to enhance the spell so that it can work properly? Mel: Ok, well, what exactly are you getting at, Mace? Macy: I don't know for sure. At least not until that Whitelighter gets here. Mel: You mean Tyler? I'll text Abby to tell him to come over if Harry's ready to do the ritual. Macy: *sighs* I'm sure he is, he probably just needs a minute. Mel: Ok, well, I'll tell Tyler to meet us at the Command Center. *back at Abby's place* Abby: *gets Mel's text message* Uh, it's Mel. She says that they need you to perform some kind of ritual on Harry with her sisters. Tyler: Ok, well, I'll help them. Under one condition. Abigael: Name it. Tyler: I don't want anymore bad blood between us, okay? So if you have any secret plans to take me down, it ends right now. Abigael: If you're not here to harm me, then I see no reason to want to harm you. Tyler: Come on, Abby, we're family. And right now we need to stick together. So that means no more secrets and no more lies. Which also means they're something that I have to tell you. Joshua didn't exactly say no when I asked if he could help. Abigael: Well then what did he say? Tyler: Well, let's see, he said that he's been watching us and said that he's the one who has been spreading rumors about Mel and you and the baby. And threatened to show concrete proof of that baby being yours to all the bloodline leaders. Causing the lot of them to come for you and your daughter's head. Abigael: Why didn't you just tell me? Tyler: Because I was trying to talk him out of it. Convince him that his family needed him, but he couldn't seem to care less. And I knew that if I told you, you'd probably hang him by his toes, only making him resent us even more. Abigael: Look, Tyler, if anything else like this happens again, just tell me. And I promise that I will try to handle the matter calmly and not disorderly. Tyler: Ok, I will, I promise. Abigael: Ok. I will stay here with Natalie and you will go to SafeSpace where you will meet up with the Charmed Ones in their Command Center. Oh, and while you're at it, please tell Melanie to hurry it up with whatever it is her and her sisters are doing, having to keep this baby entertained, while it may be fun and endearing for a while, over time it becomes the single most frustrating thing on the entire planet. *smiles* Tyler: *smiles* *leaves* *at the Command Center* Macy: Ok, Harry, would you mind giving us a rundown of what we're supposed to be doing while we wait for Mel and Tyler? Harry: Sure have a seat. Macy: *sits down* Maggie: *sits down* Harry: *sighs* Well, for starters, the ritual is fairly quick and simple. The three witches will have to be standing in a circle around Tyler and I whilst enchanting a certain spell that will imbue a blade that Tyler will be holding with the magic that I was always meant to have. My true destiny will await me once we're finished. Maggie: Well, what then? Will you just explore your new powers or something? Harry: You know to be honest, that's something that I'm still trying to figure out. I know that my dreams were showing me that my true potential could only be unlocked once I became a Whitelighter without powers, thus making this ritual come along that will give me entirely new powers that I'm starting to think will be the key to uncovering some dark secrets and hidden truths. Macy: Well, I mean, what else could you possibly expect when your the Charmed Ones' Whitelighter with newfound powers? Maggie: *chuckles* Mel and Tyler: *walks in* Tyler: Sorry I took so long I had to wait for Miss takes forever to show up so she could say the spell opening door thingy. Mel: *scoff* Well, excuse me but I was on the phone with Abby for fifteen whole minutes trying to help her put that baby to sleep. As if being a Charmed One with the fate of the entire world on my shoulders wasn't enough. Now I have a fussy baby with powers unlike anything I've ever seen to deal with. *sighs* Macy: Mel, you know if it's too much, I could just get Waverly or something. Mel: You know what, Macy? It's fine. I am totally, utterly, completely... fine. Maggie: Well, then. Let's get on with it, shall we? Macy: *clears her throat* Uh, Mags you stand right here. And Mel you can go right next to Maggie. And I will stand right here. Harry: Did you bring it? Tyler: What, the blade? Of course. I always keep ancient mystical and magical artifacts on me, just in case. Never know when you might need 'em'. Harry: *gets on his knees in front of Tyler* Tyler: *sighs* Ready, ladies? Macy: Mhm. Tyler: Ok. *wields the knife above Harry* Repeat this incantation: With the powers that be, look to me. I shall grant great power to thy who is worthy. Maggie, Macy and Mel: With the powers that be, look to me. I shall grant great power to thy who is worthy. Tyler: It's working, say it again! Maggie, Macy and Mel: *chanting* With the powers that be, look to me. I shall grant great power to thy who is worthy! Tyler: *marks Harry's head with the blade* It's done. Maggie, Macy and Mel: *stops chanting* Macy: Did it work? Harry: I don't know. Tyler: Well, how do you feel? Harry: I feel kinda weird...*passes out* Macy: Harry! Maggie: Please tell me that's supposed to happen. Tyler: I-I-I don't! If that does happen it probably just means his body's adjusting to his new powers. Macy: "probably?!" Tyler: Well, there's only one way to know for sure. Here help me get him up. *helps Harry up* Macy: *sits him down in a chair* Tyler: Whew, ok. *healing his cut* *groans* Mel: What are you doing? Tyler: I'm checking his powers, I can tell by how hard it is to heal him that he has a lot of darkness in him. Macy: What do you mean "darkness" Tyler: I don't know *groans* Feels like... Necromancy. *stops healing him* Harry: *wakes up* *gasps softly* Macy: Harry? Are you okay? Harry: Yeah, but. *coughs* I feel just a little off. Like I've just been risen from the dead. Tyler: Well, that probably just means that you saw a glimpse of the Veil. Macy: What's that? Harry: A place where the dead linger when they have unfinished business. Tyler: Now, my guess is that you've just gained the ability to move back and forth from this world and their world. It's like a smaller form of... Maggie: Necromancy.... Tyler: Yes. which is what darkness I was sensing when I healed him. After gaining said ability, he saw a glimpse of what he'd be experiencing from now on whenever making direct contact with a dead body. Harry: Thank you, Tyler. I truly appreciate the help. Macy: Yeah, me too. Maggie: Me three. Mel: Me four. *smiles* Harry: Well, one thing for sure is I am certainly in your debt. Tyler: *thinking: What if I could get a DNA sample from him to mix with my powers to perform the mind meld on Natalie?! Tyler, you are a Genius! Yes!* *clears throat to get his attention* I mean, I could think of one itty bitty little thing that you could do to return the favor. But only if you're up for it. Harry: Just name it. Tyler: *smirks* *back at Abby's place* Mel: Hey, Abby, I'm home. Abigael: *shushes her* *whispering* Please, I am begging you, please be quiet. I just got Nat down to bed and if she hears even the faintest hint of your voice she will wake up and it will be hell for the both of us so if you want to spare us both the sleep loss then won't you be a dear and put a sound concealing spell on her crib for me, please? Mel: *whispering* Why didn't you just do it before I got here? Abigael: *whispering* Because when a Charmed One does the spell, it just works a whole lot better. Or you could just let me do it and I'll channel your power. Mel: Fine by me, I guess. *a few moments later* Abigael: *channeling Mel's power* *chanting the spell* It's done. We can hear her, but she can't hear us. Mel: Thank god. And here I thought raising her would be an enjoyable experience. Abigael: Well, I mean, it can be. But sometimes, it's just a lot, you know? Mel: Yeah. Abigael: But hey, when you know that all of the city lights never shine as bright as her eyes do when she's happy, it just melts your heart, doesn't it? Mel: Yeah and especially so when her eyes mirror your beautifully hazel ones. *smiles* Abigael: *kisses her* Mel: *kisses her* Abigael: *sighs deeply* Mel: Babe, what's wrong? Abigael: Nothing, I just... *walks over to the bed* *sits down* I just don't want to hide anything from you anymore. I don't want there to be any cracks in our relationship at such a delicate time for us. Mel: What are you talking about, Abby? Abigael: There is something that I need to tell you. But I'm gonna need you to sit down first. Mel: Why? Abigael: Just do it, please. Mel: Ok. *sits down next to her* Abigael: Well, for starters, to tell you the truth about Tyler... He's my brother. Mel: ..... I guess I kind of figured that out when he said that his last name was 'Caine'..... Abigael: There's something else. *sighs* Now, it's about earlier, when Tyler was talking about the rumors going around about you and Natalie. Mel: Yeah, what was that? Abigael: Just listen, Melanie, please. Mel: Ok. I'm listening. Abigael: *sighs* Basically, to sum it all up, Tyler's brother said to him after he had reached out to him in hopes of him helping us with Natalie's mind meld that he'd been the one spreading rumors about you having a baby and about me being the other mother to said baby. Now, I believe I have the entire thing under control- Mel: You believe? Abby, this is a very serious matter you can't just 'believe' you have to be sure! Abigael: And, yes, I'm well aware of that, Melanie, so please. Just trust me. Mel: What are we going to do, Abby? Abigael: Well, you and I both have our part to play in this fiasco, yours being the mother of our daughter and caring for her and mine being the one to protect her from harm. Even if that harm does come from her own blood. Now, I swear I will do everything in my power to ensure your and Natalie's safety. Therefore I, Demon Overlord, will need to address these rumors, and decide what I want or will allow done about this magical child. I'd need to meet with the different demon leaders, hear them out as I'm sure they'd each have an opinion or a proposal as to what needs to be done. I predict a load of bickering, and I am not looking forward to it. But the only thing I care about is keeping the two of you safe so I'm gonna have to think of something to stall them so they don't go and do anything demon-y. And right now, I'm not exactly sure what that is but I have Joxen out there micro-managing them so they don't feel the need to take matters into their own hands as demons often do. Mel: Maybe it was a bad idea taking her back from Waverly because I'm starting to think that these demons are more relentless than Francesca was. Abigael: Melanie, you have no need to worry, I promise I've got it all under control. Which brings me to one more thing that I'd like to tell you. About my past. Mel: Abby, you don't have to- Abigael: No, Melanie, please. I want you to know me, all of me. Trauma scars in all. Besides, I bet you're wondering what nonsense Francesca was talking about at my trial, aren't you? Well, allow me to take you on a trip down memory lane for a bit, get you the full picture on what really happened. *sighs* You may think that Francesca's right. That I'm calculating and manipulative and just like my father was but that couldn't be farther from the truth. You see, when the Jameson Coven found out that not only had Francesca been using their magic to help Alastor with his nefarious plan but she also had had a child with him, they sent her to be dealt with by the Elders. Who I'm sure you can imagine weren't going to take Francesca's sins very lightly so my mother pointed the finger of blame towards her child, me. And told them to help her get rid of the evil in me by stripping me of my demon form. They gave her the tools to do so but it couldn't work until my demon side was fully developed at the age of sixteen. The years that passed were quite insufferable, to say the least. That was until my mother became pregnant with a human's baby to show that she was rid of her old ways, that she had turned over a new leaf. I was beyond excited. That was until she was born and Francesca would even let me hold her. And one night, it was Waverly's birthday. I had spent the entire day planning a secret surprise for her and when I snuck into her room so I could show her the surprise I had for her, she didn't want to come with me because she remembered mother's strict orders about us not spending time together. And I got mad, frustrated really and the next thing I knew, I was grasping Waverly's wrist, pulling her and my hand was engulfed in flames. I didn't know how to make it stop, I panicked and then that's when mother thought of a new punishment for me. The crate. I remember, I had spent hours in there, days, even. But when I came out, Waverly wouldn't even look at me for a whole week and mother... She just made it a whole lot worse with all of her petty insults and name-calling. Years later, when I was finally old enough to have the ritual done on me, well let's just say I sort of had a mental breakdown, which caused me to lash out and mess up the ritual, thus giving Frances a slight bit of.... Demonic tendencies. After that, I just went on a rampage. I was so blinded by rage I didn't even know what I was doing until I saw how scared Waverly was of me and Francesca started yelling at me, telling me to get out and that she didn't want to see me again. As it turns out, I had burned down the entire house with them in it and burned down the trees in our backyard that Francesca made the crate out of. After that, I guess I had just moved on. Acted like nothing ever happened but still, growing up, there was nothing in the whole wide world that I wanted more than just a simple gesture of what love really felt like, you know? I thought maybe a celebrated birthday wouldn't hurt or perhaps a kiss goodnight or, hell, even an acknowledgement of some kind to just show that i was cared for even a little bit. But the thing is, there was a time where she was a somewhat sweet mother. I remember it was the time just before the Jameson Coven held her over to the Elders that we'd used to go out and pick flowers and bake cookies and she would read me bedtime stories and everything. And I remember when she gave me her spell book, and she told me to never forget, "Love is the real magic". I swear, Mel, all of it was like a dream of utter bliss, it wasn't perfect, no, but it was just really nice. Too bad my nice dream had to end so abruptly because the moment after she asked the Elders to help her get rid of my demon side, she just started hating me. Using shock cuffs on me whenever I said the wrong incantation to whatever spell or form of witchcraft she was trying to shove down my throat in order to prove to the Elders that I could be a good little witch and whenever I didn't feel like cooperating, there were some electric shock cuffs with my name on them. Mel: Oh my god, Abby, I am so sorry that you went through all of that. I had no idea just how much abuse you suffered at the hands of that monster until now. Abigael: Well, I'm mostly glad that it's just over now. That I don't have to worry about being put in the crate or being restrained by electric shock cuffs. *sighs* Now it's like I can finally just... Relax. Tyler: Whatever you two were just talking about, I'm gonna need you to put a pin in it. Things just got a lot easier for us. Mel: What do you mean? Tyler: Well, for starters, I may have found a way to do the mind meld on Natalie without needing Joshua's help. Abigael: How? Tyler: With Harry's help. He just got a new Necromancer power, I'm thinking if we can merge my powers with his, then we might be able to do this thing on Natalie. Abigael: Okay, then what are we waiting for? Chop chop. Mel, grab Natalie and come with us. Mel: Ok. *walks over to her crib* *sees her phone light up with notification with a voicemail from Macy* Uh, you guys just go, I'll be there in a sec with Natalie. Abigael: Ok, bye. Mel: Bye. *picks up her phone* *listens to Macy's voicemail: Hey, Mel, I know it's kinda late, but I haven't had the chance to, but I really need to tell you something. We're sisters, ok? And that means that you can always count on me to be there when you need me. Even if that does include needing a fun Aunt to babysit so you can get some relief. If anything it'll probably put Me, Maggie, and Waverly in a competition for Natalie's affection. *laughs* But still just know that, no matter what I am always a phone call away. Well, me and Maggie. Maggie: Yeah, you know we'll come over there and slay any demon that tries to mess with you or Natalie or even Abby. Macy: Yeah, so just remember that. I love you, Mel. Bye.* Mel: *smiles* *picks up Natalie* *leaves* Abigael: Ok, Tyler, you and Harry will hold each other's hand and stand right here and direct the power of the merged abilities onto Natalie. Who will be in Mel's arms standing right.... Here. And this potion will make Natalie enter a powerful death-like state so Tyler and Harry can do the mind meld on her. *gives her the Romeo and Juliet sleeping potion* Ok, everybody ready? *everyone nods* Ok. Let's do this. I shall call upon the gods to merge thy Necromancy with thy Demon mind meld to create one true force. *magic merges with Tyler and Harry* Tyler and Harry: *mind melds with Natalie* Abigael: Guys, be careful! *holds onto them* *sees inside the mind meld* *mind meld ends* Mel: Abby, Harry, are you guys ok? Abigael: *nods* Harry: *nods* Tyler: I am fine, thank you for asking. Mel: Abby.... What did you guys just see? Abigael: Well, in short the people we need to bring back are the First Elder to die and the Last Elder to die, The Leader of the Jameson coven and the follower of the Jameson Coven.......
