I fell in love with someone wise
With years that far outshine my own
Older than my momther's eyes
Yet in her care, i've deeply grown.
She holds me when the world's unkind
A gentle touch, a guiding hand
in her embrace, i seek and find
The love that only few understand.
We fight, we clash, like fire and storm
But even if she doesn't let go
In every battle, there's something warm
A love that's stead, sure to grow.
She's seen the world, its highs and lows
Her wisdome like an ancient tree
Yet in her heart, compassion flows
And that's the part that sets me free.
Older than my mother's years
But with her, i'v found my place
Through every fight, through all my fears
She holds me in a tender grace.
Our love defies the bounds of time
A connection deep, a bond so true
In her, i've found my rythm, my rhyme
A love that fights, but sees it through.
