(The story takes place when Street is still in Long Beach)
Chris's P.O.V.
I was at Long Beach walking champion. Champ had gone to play a little further away. I was checking on him when suddenly he started barking but champion never barks for no reason so I hurried to go see. I find him sitting next to a man in his twenties. I lean over to put the champion leash on when I see the man's smile. A breathtakingly beautiful dimpled smile.
Street's P.O.V.
I was sitting at the beach looking at the beach when suddenly a dog started barking at me. I turn around and see his master. A beautiful woman she comes closer, ties up her dog and apologizes. I tell him that it doesn't matter and invite him for coffee.
Chris's P.O.V
I tie up champion and apologize. He tells me it's no problem and invites me to have coffee, I'm surprised but I decide to accept the offer. So we walk to the nearest cafe. We arrive at the cafe and sit in a booth and the waiter comes and takes our order. So we start talking. He tells me his name is Jim Street but at that very moment I receive an alert from HQ so I excuse myself and leave in a hurry.
Street's P.O.V. We hadn't even finished when she received a call from work I didn't even have time to ask her for her number as she had left. I pay the bill and leave for work when I get to the station, I go change and start my day.
Chris's P.O.V. I arrive at HQ and I am informed of a hostage situation in a store and we are working with David 50 on this matter. I meet Erika and I tell her that we must speak after the operation. After the operation we found ourselves alone in the changing room and I told him that I met someone this morning but like an idiot I forgot to take their number. I told him not to forget that tonight we are going out for drinks
