Blending Fate

1-The new recruit

I walked calmly towards the meeting, my crow yelling at me in anger.

"Caw! Caw! You idiot! You're late!" He shouted at me.

"No need to yell, my ears are working, thank you. I'm already late, what's the point of hurrying?"

"Caw! That's disrespectful to Master Ubuyashiki! A disgrace! You d-"

I grabbed him by the head and nailed his beak, continuing to move forward. He struggled everywhere, trying to caw but I held him tight enough to be disturbed.

I continued to move forward calmly, I was almost there.

"Tch, what the hell is the new recruit doing?! The meeting was supposed to have started fifteen minutes ago!" Sanemi yelled in anger.

All the pillars were gathered in Master Ubuyashiki's garden, waiting for their new member, irritated.

"Calm down Sanemi, she'll be here soon." Master Ubuyashiki said calmly, a slight smile on his lips, his two children at his side.

"But Master! Punctuality is part of a pillar's responsibilities! I don't have time for that!" He replied in a calmer and more respectful tone, although he was still annoyed.

"I'm agreed with Shinazugawa on this one, she better have a good reason for being late." Obanai admitted.

That's when the door opened spontaneously, revealing the silhouette of the new recruit, who stepped forward as if nothing had happened.

"Sorry for the delay."

The pillars were surprised, even shocked by the person who appeared in front of them. A girl, clearly not taller than 145cm, looking fragile. She had curly light brown hair, green eyes and an eye patch over her left eye. She also wore black gloves.
She was dressed in the green uniform, open on the shoulders with loose sleeves and a skirt with a large slit, a black cycling short underneath. She wore simple flip-flops as shoes with small black socks.

"What the-" Sanemi muttered stunned.

Obanai put his fingers on the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes with a frown, annoyed by what he just saw.

Sanemi then suddenly stood up.

"Huh?! But this is a joke I hope?! I waited fifteen minutes for such a disappointment?! Master with all due respect what possessed you to hire someone like her as a pillar?!" »

The new recruit frowned, ready to retort, things probably won't go as planned...

I continued walking when I saw Master Ubuyashiki's domain.

"Ah, here I am at last."

So I went forward and engaged the door handle then entered.

"Sorry for the delay." I apologized before standing in front of them, on the side so as not to stand in front of Master Ubuyashiki and his children.

"What the-" One of them murmured, a man with a body full of scars.

Another, with a snake around his neck, placed his fingers on the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes and frowning, seeming annoyed by my presence.

I raised an eyebrow at this gesture, what's his problem?

"Huh?! But this is a joke I hope?! I waited fifteen minutes for such a disappointment?! Master, with all due respect, what possessed you to hire someone like her as a pillar?!" He suddenly shouted.

I frowned at his behavior, annoyed at the way he looked down on me.

"Hey! Do you have a problem?!"

He turned his head towards me, a look of pure hatred in his eyes.
