— ROBIN LOOKED at the book before her. The black cover drew her in once again. She let out a soft sigh and flipped to the first page, the book immediately taking charge and taking her to where she had left off.

The pages put out a fluttering sound as they flipped themselves, producing a slight wind. That stopped however as the page she had once stopped on was reached.

Words began to emerge, the ink forming on the pages as her eyes scanned the book, waiting for one thing in particular. 'Hey sixer' the book read, the small, yellow triangle she had been waiting for finally emerging.

She looked down momentarily at the six fingers she owned before rubbing her thumb along the page. She let out a sigh, and jumped to the case. 'Why do you want me to go to Gravity Falls?' She thought.

As the thought came to mind, the pages before her formed an answer. Bill had previously said the book changed depending on who was reading, so the pages before her had no problem changing as she thought of the question.

Her eyes shifted to the other page as the triangle slowly made his way to it, words forming next to him.

Robin waited impatiently, looking up at her door as footsteps passed. She held in a breath, letting it out as the sound faded. She then refocused on the answer just in time to see it completed, swallowing the lump in her throat.

'Let's be honest kid, you've been reading about it for a while, we both know that's something you've had in mind for ages now." The book read. 'But the real reason is that I need a favor.'

The girl raised an eyebrow, turning the page. She couldn't help but wonder what it was, which she knew was foolish. She had read the journals, seen what Bill had done to Gravity Falls and planned for the world, yet she still couldn't help but be drawn in.

She had ignored the warnings at the start of the book she now read, ripping them out and stuffing them in her desk drawer. She signed her name and gave the pages her blood.

And now she waited for what else she could help with.

'I need you to go to Gravity Falls because I am not dead. I never was- never will be. Pine tree and shooting star may think they're done with me, but boy are they wrong! If you find the gorgeous statute of me and shake its hand, I'll be free to wreak havoc on gravity falls again.'

Robin frowned, knowing what happened last time- that he had tried to kill twelve year olds- tried to destroy the town.

'Look kid, what you read was biased. I didn't try to kill those kids, I just wanted to... stop their breathing.'

She turned the page.

'All I want is to be free.' The pages read, the yellow triangle before her crossing his arms. His eye narrowed. 'It's hell in here- I need out and you can do that!'

Robin's eyes shifted to the next page, watching as the triangle floated over with her gaze. 'You've done it before, IQ, just do it again. You made a deal when you turned the page of this book, just do it again when you go to Gravity Falls. Wrap those six fingers around my hand and give it a good greeting'

Robin let out a sigh, knowing very well there was a catch. There always was. She turned the page and watched as more words formed before her, Bill emerging as well.

'You're right kid, but we'll get that resolved.'

She narrowed her eyes, wanting to know what it was.

'Yeesh, you're persistent.' Bill muttered, waving an arm dismissively. 'Fine kid, if you shake the hand of that statue, I need to host a body. And soon or I'm thrown back into prison. So that host is you.'

'I'm sorry?' She thought.

'It'll be temporary until I find my own.' The little yellow triangle on the page shrugs.

'Why do you need a host?'

'You ask a lot of questions.' The book read, the little yellow triangle growing closer. His eyes narrowed and he looked at the read, Robin extending her arms to out more distance between her and the book.

'Look kid, it doesn't matter why, it matters how.' He rubbed where Robin imagined his chin was. 'And you're the how.'

It was weird, communicating with Bill through the pages of a book, yet she found herself drawn to it again and again. She knew she shouldn't be considering the deal, but part of her did. Deep down, even despite the author's warnings, she consider it. Because she also read about the benefits of having a muse.

She had fallen in love with the paranormal and the thought of inter dimensional travel, so becoming close with someone experienced with both of those things was something she dreamed of.

So she turned the page, swallowing the lump in her throat. 'Now I know what you're thinking' the pages said. 'What's in it for me?'

Bill pointed finger guns at the girl as she read, his eye suggesting he was meant to be smiling. 'Well, bookworm, I'll get your parents back together.'

Robin's eyes widened, the book almost slipping from her fingers. She tightened her grip on the paper and focused on the next page, a sudden bit of hope filling her chest. 'I know that's what you want. Ive known what's in your head since you read the first page. I know everything.'

Images began to flash in his eyes, Robin watching intently. 'Wouldn't that be nice?' The book said once we was finished. 'Have your family back together- get to see your father?'

Robin nodded, unsure if the book would know. Her fingers wrapped tighter around the book she clutched to, hope bubbling in her chest. 'All you have to do is shake my statues hand.'

Robin thought about how far Gravity Falls was, but shook it off. She looked to the book and before she even had an answer, she read: 'great! I'll be waiting'

The book knew deep down that's exactly what she wanted to do. Gravity Falls was somewhere she had wanted to go for years now, so that wasn't a problem, and when she thought about the possibility of getting her parents together again, she excused the demon's past.

So she let out a sigh, closing the book and setting it on her desk for later, making sure there was a nice distance between it and the other three journals.

Then she left her room, ready to tell her mom she'd be moving to a small town in Oregon.
