IT WAS ALREADY AUTUMN and the streets that were usually covered with green leaves were now replaced with dried yellow-brown leaves while the tree stands all alone without leaves in its branches which was indicating that it was Autumn.
The air got a little colder than the spring and people started wearing the fall outfits that usually consist of the earthy - brown pallette or either something warm-tone.
Jaerim loves the fall season more than anything. She often expressed in shows when she was asked about her favourite season. Something about Autumn just makes her feel comfortable and restores hope in herself. It was like a gentle reminder that changes can be beautiful, there is hope and faith that no matter how dried up you are, frozen or burnt-out ─── the change will come again and everything will bloom again. It's leading for something new, a new start and a fresh beginning.
Like now, she was in the kitchen arranging the beautiful sunflower that she bought earlier on her way, with a beautiful smile on her face while the sweet smell of pumpkin pie filled the kitchen.
Satisfied with the flower placement, she kept the vase on the table before wearing her gloves and taking out the pie that was ready to be eaten. She poured some honey over it to give a finishing touch and cut it into a few pieces and walked towards his room.
"Mingyu-ah....The pie is ready, come let's have it"
Mingyu covered himself with the blanket but, upon hearing the soft voice calling out for him ── he removed the blanket covering his face and a smile instantly came on his face "It smells good"
His voice was a little hoarse because he had a long concert yesterday and even after sleeping for so long, he still felt tired but seeing his girlfriend in the brown apron, his mood instantly cheered up. He lazily woke up and instantly pulled Jaerim into a soft hug and place a soft kiss on her lips "Thank you"
The two came out from the room and Mingyu sat down as Jaerim gave him his share along with the spoon and the cup of hot chocolate tea and some marshmallow on top that goes well with the pumpkin pie.
Mingyu took a sip of the hot chocolate and a bite of the pie. His taste buds bloomed with the taste of the freshly baked pie and gasped dramatically "I've eaten a lot of pies but this one taste much more better than anything!"
His eyes were sparkling like a small kid who got his favourite candy flavour from the shop that made Jaerim to chuckled and take a bite of the pie she made. It indeed taste good.
