At ten o’clock, the school’s loud speaker began to play the music of the radio gymnastics. At this time, it was still the sixth set of radio gymnastics. Xu Ningyu had no impression of it at all, so she just followed the physical education teacher in front of her to do the movements, stretching her arms and legs.
Li Lei was watching from the back. He was a short and stubby little boy, but he was very serious when doing the exercises. His short arms were really funny. Before he finished the finishing exercises, he took advantage of the teacher’s inattention and bent his waist to sneak into the third grade team.
As soon as the music stopped, the students seemed to disperse quickly. The team doing the exercises instantly disintegrated, and the children ran around like a group of birds. Li Lei also rushed to Xu Ningyu’s side, lowered his head and teased him with a smile: “Little fat boy, do you still remember me?”
Xu Ningyu looked up and saw that it was the boy named Li Lei who sent him here in the morning. This guy loves to joke. What fat boy? Why did he keep harping on this point? It’s so childish. Xu Ningyu “snorted” and gave Li Lei a sharp look, which made Li Lei laugh.
The fat kid was really narrow-minded. When he got angry, his face puffed up. Li Lei was so itchy that he wanted to touch him: “I heard that you are already in the third grade. How come you are so smart?” There were children running around. He was afraid that Xu Ningyu would be hit. He stretched out his arms to protect the little guy while talking, which was quite like a big brother.
Xu Ningyu softened his expression and would not really get angry with a child. He replied: “It’s okay. You need to read more books.”
“Then I don’t have any hope. I want to sleep as soon as I read.” Li Lei was very sorry and did not hide his poor academic performance at all. He couldn’t help but touch Xu Ningyu’s head: “This little head is so smart. Can he skip a grade in two days?”
Xu Ningyu shook her head and shook off his hand. At this time, Xu Xinning saw that there seemed to be a big child pestering her brother from behind, so she ran over quickly. She looked at Li Lei curiously, pulled Xu Ningyu to her side, and whispered to her brother: “Xiaoyu, are you okay?”
It turned out that the real sister had come. Li Lei put his hands in his pockets and watched the chubby boy run to his sister, then turned around and glared at him with his big eyes accusingly.
Xu Xinning immediately misunderstood and turned to look at Li Lei angrily. The usually quiet girl looked like she was going to hit someone: “You are so old, how can you bully a child? My brother is only seven years old!” The
chubby boy must have done it on purpose, what a stingy guy! Li Lei lowered his head and wrinkled his nose at Xu Ningyu, making a face. When facing a girl, he immediately changed his disdainful expression: “I was playing with him, don’t accuse a good person. I live in Building 10 behind you, and I was the one who took your brother to school this morning.” He is a man, so he doesn’t bother with a little girl.
“Well, sister, he didn’t bully me.” Xu Ningyu explained slowly. He just did it on purpose.
Hearing her brother say this, Xu Xinning was relieved, and glanced at the boy suspiciously, and took her brother’s hand and walked towards the classroom.
