Maya opened her door, and let Carina enter first, but as she herself walked in, her phone started to ring.
It was one of the other directors from her company. She felt an anxious tug in her tummy. She silenced her phone and pocketed it. Not wanting to let work get in the way of her time with Carina.
"I'm gonna go use the bathroom" Carina said,
"Yea, sure, please, make yourself at home..." Maya said
Maya then remembered about Carina's payment, and quickly kept the envelope next to Carina's bag. She then went over to the kitchen to get them some wine. When Carina returned, she put the envelope in her bag, without checking. She trusted that Maya would be sincere.
"I took the liberty of assuming you still like white wine" Maya said, standing by the couch holding two glasses of white in hand.
Carina smiled, and came over, taking a glass from her. They clinked it and sipped. And just as they were about to sit, Maya's phone began to buzz again. Now she was simply annoyed.
"Sorry, would you excuse me?" Maya said, "Please... have a seat" she gestured to Carina and then picked the call and walked to the kitchen.
Carina sat down and took another sip of wine.
She could hear soft mumbles, but within a minute, Maya's voice was louder. Whatever that call was about, it had turned into a heated argument. The call went on for 5 minutes and then Maya returned. Looking a bit... unlike herself. Harrowed.
Carina wondered if Maya was okay. She rose up and went over to Maya,
"Hey..." she said softly
"Hey..." Maya said
Carina was standing before her, looking at her like she was studying her. She slipped her hands into Maya's blazer, up her shoulders and slid it off her arms. Maya gazed at Carina intently...
"I don't know why you think you can't talk to me about what's going on..." Carina said
"Carina..." Maya sighed
"But the least I can do... is help you destress..." Carina said
She kept the blazer aside, and then unbuttoned Maya's shirt, just 3 buttons, and then took her hand and led her to the single-seater couch.
"Sit..." Carina said
Maya sat down.
Carina brought their wine glasses and placed it on the little table beside the couch and then, she sat sideways on Maya's lap.
At first, Maya was stunned, but then she let herself have this... she let herself hold Carina, her hand moving down her back carefully
Carina put an arm around her shoulder, and now and then played with her hair.
"Talk to me..." Carina said to Maya,
Maya was still gazing up at her like she was some goddess. Because she was. Maya was yet to come across someone as beautiful as Carina.
"You must have a lot of repeat clients..." Maya ended up saying. 'Of all the things to say, Maya!' She scolded herself internally. Lucky for her, Carina took it with a pinch of salt.
She was throwing her head back in laughter, and Maya smiled. Already feeling less stressed than she was.. like... 2 minutes ago. Maya took a moment to let her eyes wander, she gazed at Carina's neck, and then her tanned skin of her chest, the cleavage that her dress allowed,
Maya looked down, that slit in her dress had fallen open beautifully on her thigh.
Carina now noticed Maya's gaze on her. She reached for Maya's hand that was on the armrest and placed it on her thigh, so that Maya's fingers could graze the skin, revealed by the slit in the dress.
