**Sehun - Battling the Internal Chaos**
Sehun slammed the door to his room, the loud bang echoing through the house. His emotions were a chaotic mess, pulling him in every direction. He had been able to keep his cool, at least outwardly, but inside, he was unraveling.
“Why do I care so much?” Sehun muttered, pacing the length of his room. He had rejected Jungkook in front of everyone—he should feel victorious, satisfied that he had put the Omega in his place. But instead, he felt empty, hollow, as if a part of him had been ripped away.
Images of Jungkook’s tearful face flashed in his mind, making his heart constrict painfully. Sehun clenched his fists, trying to banish the thoughts. He didn’t want to admit it, but the bond he had just shattered was pulling at him, demanding to be acknowledged.
He punched the wall, the sharp pain in his knuckles grounding him for a brief moment. “No,” he whispered fiercely to himself. “I’m in control. I have to be.”
But the truth was, he wasn’t. The bond he had denied was still there, nagging at the edges of his consciousness, reminding him that he couldn’t just walk away from it. He had rejected Jungkook, but the bond didn’t care about his pride or his anger. It was primal, deeper than anything Sehun had ever felt, and it was tearing him apart.
Sehun sank onto his bed, burying his face in his hands. He didn’t know how to deal with this, didn’t know how to reconcile the hatred he had nurtured for so long with the undeniable pull he felt toward Jungkook.
It was driving him mad.
**Chanyeol - A Brother’s Dilemma**
Chanyeol stood outside Sehun’s door, hearing the sounds of his brother’s frustration from within. He knew better than to try and talk to Sehun when he was like this, but Chanyeol couldn’t just stand by and do nothing.
He hesitated for a moment before knocking on the door. “Sehun? It’s me. Can we talk?”
There was a pause, and then Sehun’s voice came through the door, strained and tense. “I’m not in the mood, Chanyeol.”
“I know,” Chanyeol said gently. “But I think we need to talk about what happened tonight.”
The door opened suddenly, and Sehun stood there, his expression a mix of anger and something else—something Chanyeol couldn’t quite place. “What’s there to talk about? I did what I had to do.”
Chanyeol frowned, concern etched across his features. “Did you? Or did you just do what you thought was expected of you?”
Sehun’s eyes flashed with anger. “You don’t understand, Chanyeol. You’ve never understood what it’s like to be me.”
“Maybe not,” Chanyeol admitted, keeping his voice calm. “But I do understand that you’re hurting. And I know that rejecting Jungkook wasn’t as easy for you as you’re trying to make it seem.”
Sehun’s jaw tightened, and for a moment, Chanyeol thought he might shut the door in his face. But then, Sehun stepped aside, letting Chanyeol into the room.
“You think I’m weak, don’t you?” Sehun said, his voice low. “For letting this… this bond affect me.”
Chanyeol shook his head. “I don’t think you’re weak, Sehun. I think you’re human. And I think you’re struggling with something that’s bigger than both of us.”
Sehun sat down on the edge of his bed, his shoulders slumped. “I hate him, Chanyeol. I’ve always hated him. So why… why does it hurt so much?”
Chanyeol sat beside him, placing a comforting hand on Sehun’s shoulder. “Because the bond doesn’t care about hatred, or pride, or anything else. It’s about something deeper—something you can’t control.”
