"You might want to move"

"You're being tardy again" five knocked at y/n's door, reminding her of her lateness.

"Can't a girl have some time to prepare?" She asked rhetorically, fixing her hair for their family photo, it was for one of the many posters they always do ever since their debut as "the wonder kids" of the city.

"why bother preparing if you still look ridiculous? " he raised his brow as him and y/n walked towards the stairs, shoving his hands down the pockets of his school boy shorts.

"you do realize that you insulting me is a waste of breath" she turned to him with a grin as they walked down the stairs.

"it's worth the waste" he grinned back as they walked towards the living room, they already saw their siblings and father in their places, y/n and five just stood next to one another, not having another space for y/n to stand on.

"stand up straight, every single one of you" their father ordered as they all fixed their posture, y/n's eyes landed on vanya, who just walked in the scene, usually, whenever they have photographers over, vanya was assisted with their mother grace to do chores, keeping her occupied, but unfortunately (for their father) today, grace was charging.

"dad, you forgot me.." vanya spoke, walking up to her family.

"i did not" their father told her "no smiles, eyes ahead" he ordered the rest of the class.

"miss, please move closer" the photographer told y/n, she just awkwardly moved herself towards five.

"quickly now" her father told her as five placed his hand around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

"dad." vanya called out "dad!"

"no talking!" he dismissed her "stand still!" he told the rest of his children.

"i hate you." five told the girl as she payed for both their ice-creams.

"your welcome" she smiled at him, taking a bit of her ice-cream, on the way home, y/n practically begged five to let her buy ice-cream, which he declined but eventually end up folding.

he just rolled her eyes at her, eating his own ice-cream as they walked back to the academy, it was a pretty distant walk, they already finished their ice-creams when they heard the rubbles of the academy come falling down.

"what the fuck.." y/n mumbled as they grew closer to the wreckage of the academy.

"shit.." five spoke, a local news paper stand caught his eye, grabbing a news paper as they started to sprint towards the academy "guys!" he called out as he saw his siblings standing on the wreckage, the girl followed him swiftly, avoiding any thing that may make her trip "this is it- the apocalypse is still on- the world ends today" five informed them in a panic.

"but you said it was over-" luther matched five's panic expression.

"i was wrong okay?" he showed the news paper he grabbed from the stand "this newspaper- its the same one i found the day i got stuck-" five only paused to breath "the headline hasn't changed"

"no, the headline doesn't mean anything" diego shook his head in denial "the time could have been altered since that newspaper" he reasoned.

"you're not listening to me- when i found it, i assumed this place came down along with everything else- but here we are-" five looked up at the sky "the moon is still shining, the earth is still in one place- but not the academy" he explained before klaus snatched the newspaper from him.
