During all this time, Joseph was in his room, thinking about the way to solve this problem, which could be a threat to his plans.

- What if... No! I cannot do that... - he was fighting his own thoughts.

- But... If Damian kills Clary, it will destroy my plans! No, I cannot let it happen... - Joseph stood up, - But first, I need to make sure that Paul doesn't get in my way.

He left the room and went to Jessica's room. Jessica and Nyra were talking about Paul's condition. Joseph knocked the open door:

- Lady Jessica, can I come in? It's urgent!

- Yes, - she suspiciously looked at him and pointed at Nyra with her head to leave them alone. As Nyra left, Jessica asked him:

- What do you want this time, Joseph?

- I want you to prevent Paul from saving Clary.

- How is it going to serve you?

- If Damian Harkonnen kills Clary, it will destroy my plans!

- But it will help me to get rid of Clary! – Jessica shouted at him.

- You don't understand! It shouldn't happen! – Joseph gave a sharp look to her.

- Why are you so concerned about Clary, huh? Your intention was to destroy her, wasn't it?

- It was and it still is! But as I told you before, I don't want my victims to suffer before the time I planned! – he approached Jessica furiously.

- I cannot be a tool for your plans anymore, Joseph! – she got mad at him.

- Then I'm going to complete my mission in terms of you... Where's your husband again?

- Enough! – Jessica scattered the things on the shelf angrily.

Joseph turned to leave, but Jessica said calmly yet full of tension:

- What's my role in your plan? Are you actually going to poison me this time?

- No... You will send Paul to the location I'll give you. You'll say that Clary might be there.

- What if it's a trap for my son? What if you put someone there to kill him? – Jessica furiously asked.

- Trust me, Jessica! Paul is not on my list of victims, but if you continue talking this way, he can be added there somehow, - Joseph whispered in a serious tone.

- If you are not going to kill him, then what's on your mind?

- The location I'll give you is where I'm keeping Vladimir Harkonnen's daughter Elena, whom my agents kidnapped early this morning.

- But why didn't Vladimir Harkonnen blame us for that? – Jessica asked, surprised.

- Because I did it from Fremen's side. Anyway... I did it because I wanted Paul to save Elena, when I will have already escaped Clary from the Harkonnens.

- How will it assist you? – Jessica ironically smiled.

- While Clary will respect me for saving her life, she will feel offended by Paul. She will think that he chose to save Elena instead of her, which will slowly tear their bonds.

- Joseph... You are the devil itself! – Jessica was impressed by his plan.

- Yeah, and.... - he came closer to Jessica and said, - Be careful with this devil, Jessica Harkonnen!

Saying this, Joseph gave her the location's coordinates and left the room. He headed to the Harkonnen palace. As he left, Jessica went to Paul's room. He was preparing to go to the Harkonnen palace. Jessica opened the door and went in. Seeing her, Paul wanted to leave the room, but she stopped him by grabbing his arm:

- I can help you to save Clary! – she said.

- I don't need your help, Lady Jessica! – he tried to avoid her.

- I know where Clary might be kept...

- Why should I trust you? – Paul asked suspiciously.

- I am a Harkonnen, and I know the places where we used to keep our captives, - Jessica gave Paul the coordinates.

Without saying a word, Paul left, rushing.

Meanwhile, Joseph got in the Harkonnen's palace secretly, killed one of the guards and wore his garment. He closed his face with the typical Harkonnen helmet and hid the corpse of the soldier he killed. Then he approached the guardians standing in the corridor and asked them:

- Do you know where Damian Harkonnen is? An agent brought a letter for him.

- Yes, he must be somewhere near the imprisonment chamber. The one on the ground floor, - one of the guardians said.

- Thanks! – Joseph said and immediately left.

He knew every corner of the palace, that's why he didn't struggle to find that chamber. When he was almost there, he started to move carefully, looking around and making sure no one noticed him. Then hearing Damian's voice, Joseph hides behind the walls of the corridor and listens to him:

- I won't go easy on her! Clary Atreides is the main tactician of the Atreides dynasty... - Damian was talking to a soldier.

- You're right, Major Damian! And by the way, we searched for miss Elena, but we couldn't find any trace... - the soldier said, full of fear.

- Then search more! Explore each corner of this planet until you find her! – Damian grabbed his collar furiously.

- Yes sir! – the soldier left as Damian let him down.

There were two guardians in front of the door. And Joseph knew that it would be stupid to enter the room from there. As Damian walked away, Joseph ran to the secret entrance to the chamber which was a secret to most of the warriors. He entered the room through a secret door outside of it. Clary raised her head and looked around. When she saw Joseph, she shouted at him:

- What did you forget here? – she ironically laughed, - I knew it... I knew that you serve the Harkonnen.

- But I didn't expect you to react this way. You are a clever girl, Clary. Why would I enter here secretly, if I wanted to harm you? - he asked playfully.

- What are you hinting at? – Clary gave a sharp look to him.

- I'm here to save you, Clary Atreides! – Joseph approached her.

He started to untie the ropes around her body carefully and gently. Clary was so weak that she couldn't stand straight anymore. As the ropes were untied, she fell into Joseph's arms. She tried to stand up but couldn't and closed her eyes, fainting. Joseph lifted her and immediately ran out of the room. He managed to secretly escape the palace and carry Clary to the Atreides mansion. He reached the Atreides palace breathlessly and out of power.
