Then a second vortex opened up.
Its cavernous, hellish fire erupted like a volcano.
And, out of the horrifying flames, came a demon.
Its three, horned head ripped into the top of the vortex's edges. And, as shards fell into the darkness, it forced itself out from The Otherworld...and into the Earth-world. And, once it was free, it screamed in pain...and then it decided to possess the living. One body at a time.
