ACCIDENTALLY DRUG THE WRONG PERSON

Kabanata 5: Marry?

Damian's Point of view:

I was called back to our family mansion. Malamang ay nakarating na kay tanda ang nangyari—my grandfather Lux Sullivan, who was also the head of the family. 

I remained unwavering in my stance. I darted my eyes to him and said,"Grandfather, mom doesn't understand the situation at all. I and that woman did not sleep in our own accord. It was just an accident."

"Why are you so stubborn? Faith gave you the chance. You already touch her. Don't you miss that feeling even a little bit?"

"Not at all." I replied.

"Gideon, I'm extremely disappointed on you!"he exclaimed. 

The calm old Lux Sullivan looked at me coldly with his imposing aura. He only call me on my second name when he is furious.

'This is mom's fault.' 

I glared at mom who's sitting beside the old man. But she act like she didn't gave a damn, tsk.

"Our family don't tolerate such thing. We are not running away from responsibilities. Maaring siya na ang lunas sa kalagayan mo." Grandfather said firmly.

"But I don't know her at all. Grandfather how can I agree to marrying a total stranger?"

"What if I tell you that if you don't get married, I will make your little lover... whats her name? Kim, right. I will make her lose her career, hanggang sa maramdaman niyang mas mabuting mamatay kesa mabuhay?"

I hissed and said."You know that I wont let you."

 Grandpa laugh at me mockingly."I know that your wings hardened and I can no longer control you. All of you became rebellious, one by one." Mom cough on other side. He continued."One became President, another became a celebrity and you. You have always been mature, yet rebellious. But even I cant do anything to you it doesn't mean I cant do it to your girl. Try me Gideon, try me."

Alam kong hindi imposible ang sinabi niya. His not just the head of our family, He has a lot of connections. He is no ordinary old man, and so am I. 

Disgust flashed on my eyes, my fist are also clenching... Fine!

Third Person's Point of view:

Celeste only ran few steps before she saw several cars driving noisily. Bodyguards of Chin family. Gusto niyang umalis pero mukhang malabo yun. Nearly all of them had been mobilized and they soon surrounded her. 

Her foster dad walked towards her, "Celeste, I'm doing this for your own good. Still you dare run away. Guards, go and bring her back to mansion."

Hindi nakaligtas sa mga mata niya ang multong ngiti ng foster mom niya. She  stared at her foster mom, resisting the urge to slap her. Nagiisa lang siya, kaya kahit gusto niyang manlaban ay hindi niya kakayanin ang dami ng bodyguards. With her hands both tied on her back, Celeste was brought back to the mansion.

The make up artist freshen her up while her step mom stared at her murderously. "To think that someone like you is attempting to escape me? Never mind, you better be dress up to meet Samuel."

Celeste clenched her teeth. By just thinking of Samuel, nasusuka na siya. As Daniela—her step mom looked at her after she had freshen up, she thought to herself, 'She looks beautiful when she's dressed up'

'She must marry Samuel as soon as possible. Otherwise, she would always be around Rui. If Rui falls inlove with her, then Fritz's position would be compromised. Yun ang di ko hahayaang mangyari.'

Celeste's Point of view:

Someone outside announce Samuel and his family's arrival. Under my step moms command, They released me from the handcuff. Through the door I can hear Cheng family's spirited voice.

Someone said, "Alam nating lahat, that the third miss of chin family is just adopted. She's really not worthy to our Samuel, she looks quiet good on picture though. Pagtapos ng kasal, as long as she helps continue the Cheng bloodline, she will benefit greatly in future."

Bloodline? 

Give birth?

Ano ako anakan? 

I'm not a prostitute for f*cking sake. I saw a man standing on the corner flirting with the waitress. I even saw his hand slap the waitress butt. Hindi ko maiwasang mapangiwi. Upon watching what the man's doing, I didn't notice step mom beside me. 

"You see, Celeste. That is your future husband." Of course, I could hear the arrogance and mockery in her voice.

A waitress accidentally bumped the table. Natapon ang wine sa isang babaeng sing-edad ng step mom ko, causing a chaos. Habang nasakanila ang tingin nilang lahat dahan dahan akong umatras at nagtungo sa exit. But before I can go out I heard step mom shouted. 

"Where did Celeste go? go after her! Give her a good beating when you catch her!"

After hearing that I ran like there's no tomorrow. I don't know how I had escaped. Ang alam ko lang mag-isa lang ako at humahangos sa kalsada. 

Right at the moment, I saw a car approaching me. Tatakbo na sana ako nang bumukas ang car window at niluwa nito ang lalaking di ko akalaing makikita ko ulit.
