One of the last things Leo remembered was the horrified expression on his Wife's face as he took the blow meant for her. He knew that if the Kraang had hit her, she would have died. Leo however, knew it was 50/50 if it hit him, and he would much rather face those odds than seeing her skewered.
He groaned as he sat up, a headache already knocking against his temple. His vision blurred, and pink filled his vision. Now, one thing good about the Kraang is how easy it is to tell its them. They're always pink. So when the color that made his brain perk up to be alert registered he was surrounded by pink, he held back a scream and stumbled back. His vision cleared, and it was indeed those bubblegum looking fucks.
Pink vines hung around the space he was in, creating something like a maze as they hung up as far as the light would allow them to be seen. From there, it looked like the vines were tangled into the darkness. Not a pretty picture.
Leo slowly stood up, and looked around. What was this place? He began to walk around silently, listening for the sounds of movement that wernt his. Thankfully, his sword was at his hip, so if something can out he'd slice it like butter.
Oh butter, man he hasnt had that in years! Y/n made some once, when she milked a cow. He rememere how she was stirring it for what seemed like hours, but the outcome was worth it. She had told him she learned how to make butter by a school field trip to a historical farm that presented how life was in the past. She said it was one of the only useful things school taught her.
As Leo examined the vines and explored thg place, he noticed that all the eyes the Kraang flesh had were closed.Asleep. He didn't want to risk waking them up(who knew Kraang could sleep?) and moved on.
Leo felt as though he was walking in circles. This place was like the Backrooms but made entirely out of Kraang flesh! He went nowhere, seeing nothing just the same pink sleeping flesh. He didn't know how much time had passed, but this was pissing him off. He wanted to go back to the Resistance, see his Brothers, see his Wife! He wanted-no, needed to see if she was alright!
Knowing her, she would have most likely slaughtered the Kraang with some Mystic Frisbees. Cut them in half...Man, he loved that woman. He sighed as he walked on, swinging his sword absentmindedly. A squelch under his foot made him freeze, and he looked down to see Kraang flesh give out from under his foot, feeling the bump where the eyeball was at. Damn, he really needed shoes, that was gross.
Leo held his breath as he slowly lifted his foot off the flesh, and breathed out in releif when there was no shriek or tentacles coming out to get him. So he carefully padded past the kraang flesh, not taking any chances of accidentally stepping on another and waking them up.
He didn't notice the eyes slowly opening and blinking drowsily, watching him as he kept going.
