It was already 8 p.m. and, as you probably expect, I was sitting on the astronomy tower again. I also liked coming here because this place reminded me a lot of Lucas. He also stayed here often. Every Friday we met here and talked about various things.
I was happy because it was almost the end of the school year, so I could soon go home and take a break from it all.
I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of the wind, but after a few minutes I heard footsteps. I quickly opened my eyes and looked behind me. A boy was practically standing next to me.
- Malfoy - I whispered, rolling my eyes. I jumped up and headed towards the stairs to avoid talking to him.
- Why are you running away? - they snort - you have no arguments to argue?
- I don't want to ruin my mood even more by talking to you - I looked into his eyes angrily.
- Just don't cry. Go to your little brother and complain. Or maybe he made you feel bad because he was in a bad mood? - they will smile maliciously.
Just thinking about my brother made my head hurt. I thought I would forget about it by the end of the evening and be able to spend it normally, but of course our king of Slytherin had to ruin it.
- I can't complain to him anymore, Malfoy - I passed him by.
- Well, they'll disappear from school. Did he get hurt so badly at the Quidditch match that he had to go home? - I turned around, looking at the laughing boy.
- He's dead, you idiot - I shouted in his face and ran down the stairs.
For a moment I thought he looked sad, but it was definitely my imagination. How could Draco Malfoy have any feelings?
~
Draco Malfoy
I stood rooted to the floor. With his mouth slightly open. I looked at the girl who was quickly running down the stairs.
Why did I feel so choked up? After all, Draco Malfoy would have said something mean a long time ago without paying the slightest attention to another person's feelings.
Without thinking, I ran after the girl. I didn't know why I did it. What got into me.
I ran down the hall looking for her everywhere.
- Hey Rhodes! - I screamed when I saw the girl.
She didn't stop. I caught up to her and grabbed her wrist to stop her.The girl turned around in surprise and stared at me with a grimace on her face. I saw a single tear roll down her cheek. It was the first time I looked at her so closely. She had long brown hair that went perfectly with her dark blue eyes with long, thick eyelashes. She had a small upturned nose and some freckles on her cheeks.
- What do you want from me! - the Slytherin growled, pulling her hand out of his grip.
- I... I didn't know - there's no way I could have apologized to her then. I couldn't apologize.
- Oh, now you know, so shut up and leave me alone! - the girl turned and ran towards the Slytherin common room.
