Oh shit shit shit....
She'll definitely kill me, I was supposed to be there alot sooner than now...
What will I say to her...
No no no...
What if the whole palace gets to know about it by now...
I am dead.Lylah was running like a mad woman, literally pushing anyone or anything which was coming in her way. Her mind was fixed on only one thing and that was to reach the palace as soon as possible.
She'd promised Eleanor that she'll reach the palace before midnight and it was already midnight. She trusted Eleanor, but staying out of the palace for so long could be a very stupid thing. After all she's a Princess. She can't be gone for too long.
After running for like half an hour, she finally reached the palace. She was panting so hard at that time, that even a person standing a hundred metres away from her could hear it.
She quickly climbs up the wall of the palace and runs towards the garden. That's when her eyes caught sight of a woman, trying to sneak out of the palace.
Lylah stopped on her tracks and turned towards that woman. She was not able to see her face clearly, so she tried to move a little bit closer.
That woman was wearing a dark black robe with hood. Her long blonde hair were flowing a little as she was walking fast. While beneath her, a small cloud of dust particles was flowing.
Lylah, now forgetting about her previous situation, had her full attention on that woman. She followed her secretly, while eyeing her every motion. That's when her foot stepped on a dried twig, producing a crack sound.
The woman quickly turned around to look behind, but till then Lylah had quickly hidden herself behind the tree. Years of sneaking out had made her master all these moves.
Lylah peeks from behind the tree and notices the woman's face. She had a very bright and shiny gemstone pendant on her neck. The stone had a very magical glow, like no other stones she'd ever seen in her life.
But what caught her attention more was the woman's eyes. They were blue with a very different glow. It reminded her of someone else.
She looks exactly like...
Her....The woman quickly turns around and reaches to the other side of the palace. Lylah was quietly trailing behind her. As soon as she reaches the open ground, she holds out the pendant and starts chanting something.
The cloud of dust around her starts getting bigger and bigger. Lylah was shell shocked by all of this. She looks around her to find someone but when she couldn't she decides to catch the woman herself and so starts running towards the woman but before she could've even touched, the cloud vanishes.
Lylah just gets confused, but when she looks around, her eyes widen more. The woman from earlier had disappeared into thin air too, without any trace. Lylah was so confused at that point, she just stood there, trembling from the shock.
"Lylah.. Is that you?"
A voice breaks her trance, she turns around to see her father, King Everett standing in front of her, having a concerned look.
"Father... T.. That.. Woman ju..st.. vanished into thin air... I..uhhh... I saw her with my own eyes... She just vanished from here.... " She starts stammering, while running towards him. She quickly hugs him, just like she used to, whenever she would get scared.
"Vanished... " The king just froze. His face all stoned. An unreadable expression settling on his face.
"Yes... She came here, then a storm of dust appeared and she just disappeared.... I don't know what just happened... " She speaks again, while her body still trembling.
