Shizumafu Oneshots

A New Shop

     It was a snowy day, Shizuku Hinomori walking from practice. It was nice being an idol again, but she felt as if something was missing. On her way back, she passed by the new shop and saw someone waiting in line. Someone she knew.

She had purple hair, and a ponytail. They went to the same school, the same archery club. Shizuku ran up to her, shouting, "Eh Mafuyu! It's so nice to see you here!" Mafuyu looked up from the ground, smiling back to Shizuku. "It's great to see you here as well, Shizuku."

"Oh darling, what are you doing here," Shizuku asked. "Oh I'm planning to buy something for my father... It's his birthday." Mafuyu looked up and down. "Looks like you're coming from practice... I can see your shirt under your jacket." "Eh?!?!" Shizuku looked down, realizing and slowly zipping up her jacket. "Well... I don't feel cold anyway..." she shrugged.

     Mafuyu, knowing her friend, did not mind her response. "Do... Do you want to stay with me..?" Mafuyu asked her. Shizuku's face all red, thinking, Should I... "Yes!! I can help you pick at something as well." Mafuyu smiled at her response. Okay Shizuku... This isn't something weird... Just go along with it.

     It was their turn. They walked in to the crowded shop. To the left, were all sorts of figurines and plushies, lots of which are from popular animes. To the right, there were books, magazines, posters, and cds stacked neatly on the shelves. And in front of the entrance, were stands, filled with keychains, stationaries, and tiny perfect gifts.

     Mafuyu was looking in the cds section, while Shizuku was looking at the keychains. "Hmm... Oh this seems to perfect! Mafuyuuuuu!" Mafuyu struggled to hear Shizuku as opposed to the big and loud crowd. "Eh Mafuyu?!?" having to walk to Mafuyu, holding the keychain.

     Shizuku lightly tapped on her shoulder twice, Mafuyu grabbing a cd last second before turning towards her. "Oh Shizuku, did you find something?" "I found this keychain!" Shizuku handed out a small keychain, it was of an astronaut in space, holding Earth.

"Shizuku... I love this... But I don't think it's much..." Mafuyu sounded confused. Shizuku jumped a little, but quickly replied with, "You just have to think deeper! Here, I'll write a note of what it means to me," she pulled out a notepad, placing it on the wall, and started writing.

Mafuyu carefully looked at her writing, realizing it was a little deeper than expected. It's reminds me of how much something small can make something big. Only one person, one person's dream, can help shape the whole world. It kind of stung, as it felt as she was hidden deep again. But because of Shizuku and niigo, she felt better than before. But still, it hurts.

She appreciated the way Shizuku interpreted the keychain, and adored her for that. She looked up at Shizuku again, her face with a big smile on it. "It reminds me of you... How much you mean the world to me... That's why I thought it was important, and of course, cool!" Shizuku blushed, but Mafuyu was entirely flustered.

"Maybe not here, Shizuku... But also maybe not the right time," whispering the last part. They decided to buy both the cd and keychain, and of course, putting the little note as to what the keychain means. Shizuku felt amazing, felt proud, and felt happy. Mafuyu was loving her, appreciating her friendship, and the things she does for her.

Right as they exited the shop and decide to head their separate ways, Shizuku stops and holds onto Mafuyu's shoulder tightly. Mafuyu turned around to see what Shizuku was staring at, only for it to be a little cafe in front. "Hot chocolate... Please, Mafuyu..?" Shizuku begged with puppy eyes. "Alright... I guess we have time."

Shizuku paid for their hot chocolates, as it was a reward for Mafuyu's generosity. They sat near the window, watching the snow fall. "Shizuku..." Mafuyu finally got the courage to talk. Oh gosh?!? What is Mafuyu doing... Shizuku's heart pumping loudly now. "Y-yes, Mafuyu..?"

    She took a deep breath, shouting, "I like you!" Surprisingly, Shizuku said it too, but more quiet. They both turned as red as a tomato, staring at anything else besides each other's face. Being brave, Shizuku puts her hands on Mafuyu's.

"Mafuyu... I want to be with you as well. You're like my bunny, and I love you.

"Shizuku... You don't know how much you did for me. Although it doesn't seem as much, you're important to me. You make me feel wanted. I love you, too."

     The two looking at each other one more time, before slowly taking a peck with each other's lips. Unfortunately, they couldn't do much as 1. They're in public. 2. Shizuku's an idol. But it didn't hurt either of them, as they now know they love each other dearly.
