Why do you have to fight? | Katsuki + Izuku + Reader Friendship

Childhood | Chpt 1

(3rd person POV)

~-DayCare-Kindergarten-~

Young Katsuki's face was lit up, a smile on his lips while his fists were raised to his chest, "Woah! Did you see what he just did?!" He said, pointing at the screen showing All Might fighting off villain's, Izuku standing beside him. The young blonde looked at Y/N, proudly talking about All Might, "Man, it doesn't get any cooler than All Might!" He exclaimed, looking back at the screen while Izuku was also smiling, listening to Katsuki in Awe.

"You see that?! I bet he'll dodge and then punch!" Katsuki said while making fake punches and kicks in the air, "They'll think they won and then HA! Oh- Ah!" He smirked while throwing some more moves at the air, attempting to show off as All Might. "He totally stopped them! Thats why he's the greatest. No matter how much trouble he's in he's always the winner!" Y/N watched the screen also while Katsuki happily bragged about All Might.

Y/N, Izuku, and Katsuki opened up their comic, all three pulling out matching rare All Might comics. They smile widely, holding them up in awe.

"Woah.!" Y/N let out, while Izuku laughed a bit.

"Wow, you're so lucky! Your quirk is amazing Kacchan! When I get mine I hope it's just as cool!" Izuku excitingly exclaimed while walking behind the arrogantly walking Katsuki while
Y/N walked behind Izuku, nodding in agreement.

"Whatever Deku," Katsuki smirked as he turned around to face Izuku and Y/N, "No matter what power you end up with you'll never be able to beat me."

Y/N furrowed her brows a bit while walking still. She's noticed ever since Katsuki got his quirk, he's been more... rude and cocky lately.

"Kachaaan!" The green haired boy called out, chasing after Katsuki Bakugo. Y/N wasn't too much behind either, right beside Izuku.

"Where are we even going?" Y/N asked, looking around the trees. Some of Katsuki's three followers snickered, but none really answered or replied to Y/N.

In one hand Katsuki held his net, his other held out forward and sparks popping from his palm while they all marched down the three branch acting as a bridge over the river.

"Forward march and here we go! Members of the agency Bakugo! Sou- Augh!" Katsuki slipped on the branch, widening his eyes and falling into the river. Everyone peaked over, checking him.

"Kacchan!" A red hatted boy yelled, another kid also calling out, "Hey! You okay down there?"

Y/N looked down at the river, "Are you alright!" And a red winged child said, "oh don't worry! Kacchan is super tough. See?" He said as Katsuki got up from the water, shaking his head a bit to get water out of his hair and face.

"Hurry up and get back up here!" One of the three boy's called out, and Katsuki smiled up at everyone, "Sure, just give me a second, haha!"

Izuku's footsteps was heard splashing through the water, and he held his hand out to Katsuki, "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Katsuki's smile faded slowly, his eyes widened but narrowed pointed down as always while Izuku continued speaking, "I was worried you might've hit your head or something..!" Izuku worryingly said, yet Katsuki had an angered look snapping into his face.

Y/N was sitting beside Izuku on the floor, attempting to comfort the frozen boy who sat on the classroom floor while people spoke about him.

"Hey did you hear?"

"Deku doesn't have a quirk! Like... NONE!"

"What?! Really?"

"Yeah! It's called being quirkless."

"Thats Dumb..."

The class let out a collection of obvious giggles and laughs, Katsuki a few feet behind Izuku and smiling at him. Y/N was silently glaring at Katsuki in disgust. Despite Izuku always being nice to Katsuki, Katsuki did nothing to tell the classmates to stop... so Y/N was completely annoyed with Katsuki.

~-Junior High-~

Katsuki threw Izuku's notebook out the window he writes about Pro Heroes and some classmates quirks in, "You wanna be a hero so bad? I gotta time-saving idea for ya.." Katsuki smirked, turning to look at Izuku, "If you think you'll have a quirk in your next life... go take a swan dive off the roof!!"

Izuku turned his head quickly to glare at Katsuki with widened eyes and furrowed brows, but Katsuki immediately smirked in an intimidating way while his raised hand had sparks popping from his palm, "Yeah? What?" He sarcastically asked.

In the alleyway, there was a crowd of people.
Y/N went to check it out, and noticed a few heroes attacking a green-gooey villain who had someone trapped... wait, is that KACCHAN?! He was being suffocated and trapped between the green goo.

Y/N was about to try to help, but noticed Izuku run up and start clawing at the monster, trying to free Katsuki from the villain's grip.

"Kacchan.! I couldn't just stand there and watch you die!" A tearful Izuku said, attempting a smile while a horrified and angered Katsuki listened.

It wasn't until All Might yelled out one of his quotes, a huge gust of wind blowing and causing the villain to split into one little liquid goo, All Might successfully capturing it in a jar.

Y/N was amazed to see All Might in person for once, but was more worried for Katsuki and Izuku than she was of paying attention to the Number 1 Hero.

"Kacchan? Why are you so rude to Zuku?" Y/N asked Katsuki while they were walking each other home after school, one of Katsuki's hands shoved in his pocket and his other gripping his backpack strap. "...He's annoying, quirkless and a damn nerd. He won't stop following me around and he's useless..." Katsuki admitted in a slightly-mumbled voice, but his crimson red eyes staring at the sidewalk.

"But... I think Izuku is nice, sweet and strong in his own way!" Y/N tried protesting, which got returned by a glare from the blonde, "He isn't strong. He's a weak loser, I'm the one who's strong!" Katsuki huffed, looking to the side snd away from Y/N, "Whatever, just shut up about it."

Y/N reluctantly nodded, letting out a sigh as they continued walking. She waved as Katsuki turned the way to his house, Y/N walking the opposite direction to her's.

~-Close to end of Junior High/Summer-~

Y/N was walking home from school, but heard a few familiar voices. She turned a corner by an alleyway to see Katsuki aggressively pinning Izuku against the wall, Izuku looking terrified while Katsuki warned him about joining U.A.

Y/N was holding back from protecting Izuku, and listened to the mini conversation. It was obvious Katsuki wanted to be the best and be the only one graduating from this Junior High and go to U.A., as he stated Aldera was a crappy school.

Apparently, Izuku, Y/N, and Katsuki all applied for U.A's Entrance Exam.
